Does anyone remember Paul Adams South African left arm wrist spinner in the 90's? Trinity Mid Whit's opening bowler has a similar action. I'm surprised Warlingham and Purley don't feature in this competition or would you say they are both geographically just out of Croydon?

First thing I thought of is, "That's like Paul Adams". Mike Gatting famously described his action as "like a frog in a blender". End result looked decent though!

Over the years I have seen many different bowling actions but that is something new for me. I slowed the video down to 0.25 playback speed and that only confused me more. Think the trick is to ignore the bowler and simply watch the ball.

Yes - Unlike the Bairstow incident the batsman was very much considering a run and didn’t feel the ball was dead - the keeper was being alert to a “live” situation. He also made his way back to the crease so he wasn’t stupid (unlike Bairstow).
