What makes you think it's non canon? So far we don't really have a timeframe to work(or at least i don't know) we don't know when did this happen. Skadi talking about killing "everyone" feels like it implied killing only her fellow hunters imo. Also there's currently no operators with alternate versions of themselves and i don't see plans to do that, there's only future versions, skalter may happen but it's not an alternate version. Also, if she wanted to take you back to the sea, she'd do so in case she actually killed everyone, there'd be no one to stop her. I just don't know.

Remenber when the seaborn was trying to make Skadi accept her seaborn blood? Gladiia punched a hole in the seaborn before Skadi could cave in. Gladiia noted, that Skadi was coverd in veins and shit while the seaborn was talking to her. Skadi noted that it 'felt as if her finger nails wanted to swim off" and her body felt stiff. And moments later she fights together with other hunters against our chutulu wannabe. Also, why would Skadi alter be wearing the outfit in the future, when the original Skadi wants to give it back to the old man? Also you should read her E2 clothing description. It hints that alter skadi came to IR with the other hunters. Seeing as how Gladiia is explaining stuff in the achive 2 file of skadi alter. The ending of the event confirms that they all made savely back to IR as well.

@@zerogalaxy2735 it's more a personal preference to not like it tbh, I'm not trying to change anyone's mind. And yea i remember gladiia noting that, and there's where the divergence in timelines come from. What I'm trying to say is that her lines don't exactly imply that she killed her hunters in that one place, it could be sometime later. Is not that she wants to wear that in the future, the directives of kal'tsit are absolute and her returning them would not be feasible specially under her current mental condition. The point is that the core idea, which i consider a cognitive hazard, has already been implemented by both the old abyssal god and "the first to talk" she/them had no real need to change her at that very moment, sure it helps that the hunters were impaired but it's simply a matter of time. Which brings us to the ultimate salvation, "that" ship gladiia wants to find, she's already suffering the effects of that knowledge as seen in the last images, that's in my opinion where either skadi kills everyone or they manage to completely separate themselves from the seaborn. Also, yeah you may think I intentionally ignored the fact that gladiia hurt the seaborn to stop the effects to take place and that she confirmed that she just laid there to listen what had to be said, but i still think skadi is yet to fully understand what they wanted.

They told us that they keep any info/expeditions or attempts to learn about the outside or the area where the "demons" (probably soggoth) a huge secret. So far that they would wipe out entire towns/villages/xyz VIP due the risk of spreading the information/awareness about their existence. As the "demons" grow stronger by people being aware of their existence/haveing knowledge about them. And the Seaborne are fought with primitive weapons because the Aegir are concerned about their extreme growth/adaptation. To the point where they could evolve so much that the Ageirs Sci-Fi technology possible accelerates their growth beyond their means to kill/fight them. There is a lot of fucked up Eldritch Horrors/Monsters around on Terra and thats very very worrysome. Considering the major powers are busy fighting each other. Like the Endgame of Arknights may turn into a "Bad End" scenario where everyone dies.

If you think of it we barely know anything about everywhere else in Terra. Every region seems to have some kind of unexplained powers working on the background.

Sami deals with Demons too. They used sacrifices. Although not much details on that.

The seaborn are just one of many things that could wipe out "humanity" in the world of Arknights according to Skalter's files... There are the Ursus demons. Good old magical rock cancer. The rebirth of the true Nian. Originuclear weapons. F*cking Cthulu according to Ceobe Fungimist... Make your pick.

The god of the Seaborn Skadi "killed" (not really) is heavily implied to be Cthulhu, Dagon or an Arknights analogue of either of the two. Deepcolor already has references to Cthulhu so that'd be my guess.

Considering that cliffhanger at the end, i wouldn't be surprise if there is another event around abbysal Hunters

Cthulu is the Seaborn God Skadi killed in the past. While he did kill him, it has been hinted before that is not exactly ... gone ? Or least his mind still seems to be somewhere in the ocean.

Nah I'm pretty sure the food are just normal fish, I remember somewhere during the story that seaborn disintegrate into cells after death, I might be wrong tho and remember that Arknight cities are separated by huge wasteland so the people of Sal viento are truly fucked.

Aegir are not abyssals. They are pretty much similiar to other people. They lived in sea but lost war against abyssals and was made to leave their home.

That made them lose their minds & even the ability to properly talk. And the Bishop even told us his plans are to transform them. Followed by a scene where Irene & the High Inquisitor discuss how the should treat the people as they will sooner or later turn into Seaborn. There was 100 % something in the food that the Sea Borne brought on the shore.

Irene can't keep up with Skadi. It's the High Inquisitor that can. Honestly I wished he put up the part where both Skadi and the inquisitor were tearing the entire city apart and both of them were still holding back.

Well, but Skalter is not canon, we use a "what if" as operetor, Skadi, in our timeline, maneged to get her shit togheter and she didn't become Skalter, she is still guard Skadi. At least i think this is the story. Gladia is more in the blobby demon flowy abyssal way.

It's just that the events that happened in that "what-if" future where Skalter exists as told by her operator files are all just too crazy to me and make me feel empty inside. The alter is a "what if" skadi became a seaborne, in the story gladia stops this from happening when she gets up and kills the first to talk. For more reasons this is a what if skadi alter, I believe she has a voice line or 2 taking about how she killed spectre and gladia which isn't what happened.

@@jreuben97 I am more curious about Alter Skadis voicelines regarding the Doctor. The thing about "she waited for so so so so long". Think the combination with "Eldritch Horror" Skadi + the Doctor is a interesting aspects/thing.

@@MonoReaper i think that's because she's more an abyssal than skadi herself, the seaborn seem to be really interested in taking over the land, and if they get hold of *the* doctor everything will die.

Because main story had less actual operators available during that time. I guess other elites that existed during that time were busy with other affairs or mission that they couldn't join their expedition against reunion

Reunion movement was far bigger organization than Rhodes Island especially since theyre very tight on operator deployments and has to make every move worth its cent. Tho I agree with you as to how they just didn't deploy people like Skadi to deal with them and has to risk Doctor's life to engage in every mission against them (he almost died to Frsotnova if not only to thicc plot armor)

Man, I've been thinking about that! Like, imagine she learns to play the harp super well and learns to sing, maybe even teach Bench to sing! Imagine her becoming a bartender, and her seaweed alcohol becoming super popular!

I'm kinda sad to say this but if you try to read the last story on the event it seems like Anita got the red shell and they still might have continued the ritual. Skadi realized it but she still replied to Anita with a reassuring reply. A rather tragic farewell if you ask me.

​@@sb18wlc Oh yeah, thanks for reminding me. An open ending by the devs to keep us on our toes bruh... Worst possible ending is her being sacrificed and the entire city being purged by inquisitors who deem its inhabitants and place tainted and beyond saving with all the monthly seafood buffets and terrors lurking around the city. But then again, Irene is still a young and open inquisitor (Almost viewed naive by her senior). We saw how she still cares for the inhabitants and she will most likely watch and have the city under her jurisdiction after the event. Above all, she has personally met and remembers Anita. Kal'tsit also cares about the lives of common folk in AK universe and I'm sure she will give some solid advice or temporary solutions for the inquisitors to keep the seaborn/terrors under control while she's being held for interrogation. In the end, it's all up to our imagination until devs decide to release further lore but it's fun to ponder and I'm personally hoping for a positive outcome :)
