It’s fine. Most of the Arthurian lore comes from that time anyways. It’s just that the first documented mention of Arthur was in Geoffrey of Monmouth’s History of the Kings of Britain, which cites Arthur to an earlier date. But honestly, who cares? There is so much more out there and more just keeps on being retold and revised.

I am not ashamed to admit I memorized that spell to open the portal at the end of Halloweentown 2 when I was little. Still remember it and can recite it to this day. Can't tell you what I had for lunch though.

I didn’t see these movies until I was an adult but I was immediately disappointed to learn that even in Halloweentown you can’t get away from conventional human beauty standards! It’s supposed to be a place where it’s fun and delightful to be a monster but at least some of the monsters still feel ugly if they don’t look human. That made me so sad.

Are all the men villains? Is that the lesson of the Halloweentown franchise? Enjoyed watching this recap even though you didn’t have the same nostalgia as I did watching it. It’s kind like Hocus Pocus for me, where I didn’t have nostalgic feelings towards it, so I don’t think it hit the same way for me. Ahhhhhhh! The conspiracy theory about Marney being from a different reality at the end! Wow!

I love return to Halloween because of the history and we learn more about their family but you would think that her mother and grandmother would be like we are royalty and your grandmother started the change that made Halloweentown better and that our family is very old and have many enemies that you might have to watch out for. So if the grandma is like the queen of Halloweentown then the mother is the princess so why not tell your kids that our family magic is very important and I need to train my kids because they have magic too. She was really gonna let all the history go away because she wanted her kids to be normal

This whole recap was incredible, so much fun from start to end. I loved these movies so much when I was little but looking at them now... Grandma Aggie is the actual worst and majority of men can't be trusted are the only takeaways I have 😂😂 All I'll be able to think of now when I watch them is how they tie in to the Princess Diaries Prequel Joe the Series 😂

You guys skipped over Marine meeting young Periwinkle when she went back to the past before meeting her grandmother. Also this movie follows Terminator logic in time travel because the only reason the amulet and giant pumpkin are in the future is because Marine went back in time which causes a predestination paradox or time loop.

Halloweentown is a favorite of mine although a lot of it is nostalgia for sure. I'd watch evil Dylan. I think he's the only warlock in this universe who hasn't gone evil, except the kid who gave up his powers. Maybe giving him an all powerful amulet wasn't the smartest move. 🤔

I want to say is most kids do not want the presence from their grandparents or parents or any family members, they just want them to be in their lives fully not just once a year. My dad was only in my life here and there he will come in a month or a year and share the bond and then end up losing it. And I grew up watching Disney so that's the only family I see and wanting that I knew it was acting but still as a kid you dreame. love your videos, not trying to spread negatively if I'm seem like that.

I just want to point out its the same bs in Harry Potter. In prisoner of Azkaban Harmonie and Harry uses time travel to save his godfather. And never again use it in the franchise. It's the same for Halloween town.
