This song played ‘the studio version’ While my wedding party was introduced and me and my bride walked out for the first time as man and wife. What a great song and a great time.
Thank God we got him when we did. It would never happen in today's society. He was totally free. Which killed him of course but it left us with something unimaginable. . .
What can you say? I'm speechless! I could watch this performance over and over!! Brilliant! Just absolute masters at their musicianship! I guess I'm not as speechless as I thought!!
This footage couldn't be any more perfect. Low light, slightly blurred and obscured, but with perfect sound. Like a fuzzy dream or old fading memory. Beautiful. This should have been the feature presentation on the DVD, instead of the inferior performance at Kilburn.
I know that band more than a thirty years and still i must say that i really discovered them by these days. The best rock band of the history, mainly in the peak years of the rock music 1967-71. Their live performances in that time are absolutely best.
This represents the Zenith of John Alec Entwistle's bass guitar tone odyssey. Even with T-Birds, Fenderbirds, Alembics or Buzzards, he actually never again sounded as good. And I view myself as an Ox fan Majeure.
Me too, would love to go back to Dec 4th 1969, smoke Bombs and Bear Bum at the Bristol Hippodrome and Tommy Hits The Road..still got the program, Brilliant!.
@rsaathoff it's beacause the lighting wasn't for filming, it was for the audience enjoy the show. But yes, it was a bit dark, but not as much as it seems.
