I’m so happy to have found your channel! I’ve been dreaming of getting a little villa/apartment in Italy and Sicily will be great. And it’s nice having your company for when I decide to do it to help me through the process.
A very informative video! Please do a video on school options and requirements, distance/ travel and so on, for children for ex pats or those thinking of moving permanently!
I've always wanted to visit Italy. I love Italian food and desire to experience the authenticity of the culture. Hope to learn more about the environment through your channel.
@janetanthony7719 have to take a remote job of kinds. Will be diffult to earn there. If I were planning something like that I would get a second job or gig in the USA save enough and enjoy the trip. If not a remote customer service job
@@Karl__Pierre thank you kindly for sharing. Would your air bnb be available to rent? Is there a way to connect with you about this outside of this platform?
Hi Karl, do you need a car in order to go to restaurants and enjoy the night life? I don't think rural life is for me, but I do enjoy small towns...and eating out doors while listening to music is the lifestyle that I want. please let me know....and do you speak Italian?
I loved your video...thank you...I'm coming to sicily in September to look for a home..I already found a woman in mussimelli that purchased 3 properties with the euro 1 program. I'm going to be selling my art in her gallery... and help her open a wellness center. I bet you've met her. Rubia daniels. See you there !!Karl!!! Great video!!
Hi Karl, how long was the flight duration from Sicily to Valencia Spain? And is Valencia Spain worth seeing? I Love traveling to multiple countries (: Thanks for sharing all your adventures! Can’t wait to travel again to Europe. More power to your channel.
Hi Farrah. I think it was about 2 hours maybe less. Valencia is gorgeous and certainly worth the visit. I am actually considering moving there to raise my kids in Spain.
The province is beautiful. You should try going to the small towns and villages, rural Spain is much more beautiful than the big cities. Valencia is a nice city though.
Karl, will you be doing some videos on Valencia, Spain. I’m interested in seeing why you like it so much. It must really be nice if you want to raise and educate your daughters there. I enjoyed watching your latest video on Mussomeli. Do you think you will keep your AB&B there? I like Mussomeli, but think I may like being closer to the coast.
@@Karl__Pierre which house will you be selling in Mussomeli? I knew you have two, but didn’t know both of them have been redone. I saw your listing where you were asking 40,000. for the cute little one bedroom townhouse. But what about your other house in Mussomeli?
Hi Karl. Just wondering? Have you been to Sambuca? I think it’s a little closer to the beach so that’s the main reason it interests me. Not sure Sambuca has the nightlife like Musomelli. Looks like you’ve got a great team over there. They did a great job on your air bnb. I bet most the people staying there will literally be on a vacay to look at cheap properties and then be inspired by your property while staying at it.
I didn't get a chance to visit Sambuca to offer up a good opinion. The best thing I can advise is take some time to visit, see and feel everything yourself and then make a decision as to which place you like most.
I love your videos and might be interested in buying property there too. I have been to Sicily it’s rugged & beautiful. Can you provide an Airbnb link for us?
Haha. Barely about 10 nights a month. At 50 bucks. Based on what I paid I suppose it's a solid rate of return but does nothing to move the needle. I hope that it keeps that rate and it pays for my family's flights for the summer
Hi Karl, great information. How can you find and view these properties online? Do you have to use local tradespeople and are these easy to get hold of? What sort of budget would be needed to renovate these properties? Sorry for all the questions!
@margaretwilson4681 all of them there are plus more properties represented by the brokers. Best thing to do is come and walk the properties to really understand the opportunities
I am interested in learning more about life in Sicily, and Mussomeli in terms of food. In the U.S., I have to eat gluten-free due to reactions in my body when I do. I have no idea if I will be able to eat gluten in Europe. But, if I can’t, what gluten-free options are there in Sicily and Mussomeli?
Considering pizza, pasta, and bread are out I'd say you'd have to stick with proteins and veggies unless you're looking for gluten alternatives... there aren't going to be many.
Im going to sell it and move the money over to another project on the coast. So far I'm booking about 10 days a month which brings in 600 a month in airbnb rev. That's for the month of August. Based on the price and overhead it should net out 350-450 monthly, which is a 12-14% annual rate if return.
Hello Karl, I’ve signed up with your group to contact me three weeks ago and have not heard anything. Are you guys still contacting people who are interested in moving to Italy?
i think buying in places like this is for people with money like you or that are retired. I know places like this aint dead is just a different life style then new york, medellin or a major city. And you have a cute kid, i feel real bad for you when she a teenager she gonna give you so many headaches lololol
I disagree. There are people with no so much money but the will to create and do that have come as well. For example there are people coming over just looking for a very modest life where they don't have to work much to live comfortably. 1100-1500 euros is enough after the house is complete to live comfortable in this town. Eat, pay utilites, own a car and travel. Regarding my daughters thank you. I think I will be fine, Its part of life, I only have these years to shape them, after that their whole lives are in their hands and decisions
