Its aimed with the box. Its position will vary as the LRF isn’t inside the lens like on binos and the angle at closer ranges is a factor - you can move the aiming box as well
Thank you! Also, what would you describe the best reason to get the 62-35 vs a 32-35? I want to use it for spotting coyotes at a longer distance and not too specific on details…more on overall size and heat signature since it’s a desert environment. Thanks!
The 62 is a 640 core, but at 2x optical as its a wider chip for same lens as the 32 at 3.7x - it will give a wider field of view AND the ability to digitally zoom to be basically the same as a 32-35 at its optical level - thats its advantage, wide field of view (at lower mag) and the ability to zoom 1 level. Too often I see people just zoom their 640s (any brand) and its $$ wasted - The 32-35 would do what you want at a lower cost. I’ve not hunted coyotes or in a desert as we don’t have that sort of terrain here - but its how we hunt, use a TA to find something and use a DS35 or TD32 to ID it with the night vision to much longer ranges - we do regularly shoot pigs at long range from around other livestock
