i dont think thats what happened. I think because daniel did not snap called and hesitate its makes the story of having an ace by telling daniel "you have a jack" stronger
ya, it was clear that Daniel was scared of an Ace and if person played his had as if he had Ace , 4 I think the betting might of gone different. The point of the hand I wanted to clearing show was because Daniel guessed what Eric's hand was, gave Eric a clue as the strength of what his hand was....
what he said about the ace makes no difference, obviously daniel wouldn't be tanking with an ace so he's gotta have a jack, stop pretending Persson is a genius lol.
I mean, obviously subtle cues based on the way people talk, the things they say, the way they react to certain things in conversation are all tools that help a good salesman, or con-man to swindle a person - i think the same logic applies here. Eric had no-idea what Daniel was holding until the _"...A3 off?"_ comment. That definitely factored into Daniel's fold here. If Perssons hadn't implied that a J was no good, I don't think Daniel lays it down 🤷🏼♂️ Something else that I think you have to take into account is Daniel's reading ability, & his tendency to trust his gut vs probability. I think he convinced himself that there were only a couple hands Eric would play this way; a weak ace being 1 of them (the other being complete air). W/all that in mind i feel as if there's definitely some merit to what OP is picking up on/highlighting here, & I have to admit, I missed the _"...A3 off?"_ comment from Daniel when I originally watched this match.
