Nothing more Iconic then a Pharah using her ult and immediately getting half way through her voice line before having it stop due to death or stuns lol
Stop asking for attention, Stop sounding like a bot, stop saying these awful things as a sadistic person, and learn that the reason you are bullied is because your keep this cycle of hate going. Now are you going to call me a nerd or something?
I put the shot of 7:55 in slomo. Holy crap, that arrow was like... just in the general vicinity of soldier. The guy must have some lungs to inhale an arrow from that distance making it a hit.
Did we watch the same clip? The soldier moved to his left st the last second and got hit. I'm pretty sure that would have killed even with old hitboxes
They made projectile heroes projectiles roughly 25% bigger hanzo had his log reduced a little bit now because of how many behind wall headshots he got, the rest were basically only slightly noticeable compared to the bus sized projectiles that already existed, most people crying about this don't play the game.
@@EV_Variety its a team-based strategy game so uh... yknow... improve ur gamesense and teamwork?? it made the game play more like a moba than an fps while still keeping it an fps
@@simian9200 Guys, both of these kills are completely fine. The game definitely made it stupidly easy to hit people but both of these kills were valid headshots.
no Joke her pistol hitbox is so wide now that you can stack 3 tracers horizontally and hit all 3 of them by just aiming at the middle tracer @@DesislavJeliazkov
For those curious, character hit boxes didn't change. But *every single projectile* hit box became like at least 50% bigger, with basic spread hitscan or precision hitscan projectiles being multiplied by like 5 times in size.
@@joaquinchua3348apparently the devs said they saw people complain about the inconsistency of hitting shots along but the entire community was shocked by this change
@@purplestrawberrysthats not what they said at all. This was a response to people either not dying or instantly blowing up. Instead of a global healing and damage nerf, they instead boosted HP and hitboxes and now made it even easier to nuke characters, especially tanks since its auto aiming now and reduces healing
18:10 “pretty soon this ults gonna come out… and it’s right now” The comedic timing of him holding onto his ult for more than half the game only to immediately get slept is amazing
Also another thing is a hitbox isn’t just the character itself it’s a specific area around the character so you’ve always been able to hit shots on people without actually aiming fully at them but it just seems worse now because the bullet and projectile sizes have gotten slightly bigger.
This was literally the plan - it's to make entry into Overwatch easier, and it absolutely works. They didn't just make hitboxes bigger, they also increased health pools - chances are your average life in OW actually got longer rather than shorter.
@@stevenburton4966it’s honestly not as crazy as it looks when your in a actual game your very rarely that close to anyone and you are going to actually try and hit them not aiming to the side of them unless your using a projectile based character and they’ll be moving around a lot it’s just a bit easier for new players to not suck as badly because they’ll be able to hit more of their shots.
Having played a bit, only mercy pistol seemed broken. Other than that the TTK seemed the same but damage felt 'smoother'... but the smoother damage didn't help healers because it is also harder to heal. I like the changes. They will need some tweaks but the idea is sound.
It makes sense when upping the damage numbers simply created chaos, to then instead up the ratio people land shots. There's still aiming involves, it's just been tuned to increase kill time. That's also why everyone got sweeping health buffs.
@@ryankarlin9805 56% of people are gold and below. The majority of the playerbase. Everything the Devs do should have all the people actually playing the game in mind not just compheads.
The gamecis on the rise again. They released the statistics report or whatever its called and the past 2 seasons had around a 150% player increase and steady rising. I know I've been crazy hooked on it since October of last year. Haven't played this game like this since ow1 in like 2019 or so
Before this update steam alone had over 20k active players, not to mention that a majority of people play on the battlenet client or xbox. This game was never that dead
@@spyhy4019console is an underrated part of the player base, basically the only team shooter on there other then rainbow which is coming back cuz of jynxzi
@@jackwalker7304 It's subverting expectations since it implies that he's the one running away, meaning most people would actually view him as the coward lol.
I’ve never imagined a day where big moist would play overwatch let alone be such a G and fucking help teams dominate. The crossover I never knew I needed. I thought he was above games like this and only played things he could speedrun
As far as I understand there are hit scan hit boxes and projectile hit boxes. The ladder is the same as bounding box so it's pretty big and Huntsman is so crazy because it hits bounding box, calculates the closest point on the body using hitscan hit boxes to point of impact of the arrow and counts that. That same bounding box hit box is used for flamethrower, mad milk, jarate, explosions so it's just about how the bow counts
@@stephaniepozarrycki1911it is super inconsistent to hit those stupidly large hitboxes with the Huntsman compared to OW2, Huntsman at least has you charge up a shot before shooting your arrow, this game has Huntsman's hitbox for even automatic weapons
That’s just normal tank player strafing 😂 but yeah it won’t help anymore especially with dva, mauga, and orisa with the biggest headshot hit boxes in the game
One thing to note though is that the ranks got a hard reset meaning if you feel like you're clowning on some kids, you probably are. Once you get a little higher up the games do start to feel sweaty again just as before
The update is pretty crazy but some people are pretending that you had to hit the crosshair in the enemy before this patch when it's not true, ow always had big projectiles specially mercy's pistol which already shot reinhardt sized bullets since ow1
It's like everyone suddenly forgot those old videos of Hanzo's arrows turning 90 degrees in midair to hit the target if you were shooting next to them and now think that's a new thing.
@@IgorJCorrea yeah, overwatch favors the person shooting over the person getting shot when lag is involved, which is why you can see a tracer blink and die from a bullet shot where they were. that doesn't affect anything when the person is standing still though
To be fair. This was always a thing some hitboxes are just that weird. Mercy when starts a guardian angel dash has a really dramatic duck motion at the start of the dash. In certain situations, this allows her to not only dip not just her head hitbox but her into entire body into the fucking ground. She basically turns into a pancake. Sojourn small hitbox combined with how low she gets when she slides, and crouches can make fighting her at high skill tier with a mercy pocket an actual nightmare. So these projectile hitbox buffs are kind of a necessary evil if they're going to keep creating these super busted, small hitbox, duelist, characters like kiriko, sojourn, and illari
@@fluffyflare578it was never like that to begin with. It only gives invulnerability to himself, while he heals 300/s to the allies. This has been a thing since overwatch 1.
4:15 that tank really had 2 horrible Ults in a row, glad I’m not the only person dealing w stuff like that Buddy had the mercy pocket and decided to focus on the guy pushing right side
As an xbox player who has to play in PC pools to be with my friends, the guy commenting about bronze gameplay in a unranked/quickplay is the most accurate show of the mindset of every sweat I've had to suffer playing against
They didn't adjust the hitboxes of each hero, so they just made the damage entities bigger. It's, weird. but with the added health, were back to OW1 match pacing again.
the fact that when you were playing widowmaker most of your shots didnt even touch them at all and you were getting headshots is crazy they have really killed this game just wow
@@katherinea9360 yeah bit of a weird avenue to go down. Game was ruined for me when it became ow2 and completely removed a whole player out of each side of the game.
@@Tobes555removing a player was great for the game. One less player to heal, one less to damage, one less ult to worry about, less ability spam, easier to group and more focus on individual skill. Now if this patch they may have perfected the game,
