Fun Fact: LifeWeaver definitely can platform himself or others from sigma ult if he places it on the ground before sig targets him. Even when you do get targeted, if you time the platform right you won't get lifted by Gravitic Flux at all if you're hovering over it.

The life grip pharah ult combo reminds me of the battle for Olympus. I won’t be shocked if I start seeing combos likes this in game.

Now we need every ult interaction with life grip! There's just so much tech with the character it's insane.

You can break your own tree by pressing Q (ult button) again and start gaining ult charge again

Hey Karq, you might wanna test the Dva bomb pull again. The timing has to be perfect but if you pull the mech as she's ejecting you definitely can pull the bomb. I did it 3 times on accident today 😅

Im reasonably sure it does, but I wouldn't mind other people testing it to make sure im not seeing things: I believe Lifeweaver's petals (on his back) can block headshots from behind. Or rather any headshot that needs to pass through the petals becomes a regular hit.

4:51 It somewhat can (at least the distance Queen travels, unsure if the anti effect extends), but only if you lifegrip the queen first vertically and while in mid-lifegrip the queen starts rampage, she will go flying the direction she ults (similar to McCree roll during lifegrip, but the distance is insane, longer than the Practice range)

Man either they gotta remove the charge "up primary fire to heal", or they gotta remove the weapon swap and make it like Moira/Kiriko's. I feel like he's too clunky when it comes to healing effectively or being on the defense. Either you're a healbot and your fingers hurt, or you're full DPS and your team is screaming at you.

ok that Pharah and Reaper ult potential is pretty amazing and i really like the interaction how the tree of life can destroy mei wall and bap lamp. i cant wait to unlock him in 3-4 weeks or so xD

i feel 3:13 could be useful against dva and gengi as an ult block

you kinda can pull a dva bomb but it req strict timing. Tthe dva has to use her bomb as soon as she gets grabbed. She will jump out of the grab but the mech still gets pulled.

Actually you can life grab dva bomb, just you have to grab them before they ult, saw it happen in a game where the ulted right after being grabbed (almost exact same timing) and the while lobby stopped fighting for a minute

I still have a few myths of my own that would be cool to test in like a short or something. Most of them exist because of zarya's ultimate: 1. Can lifeweaver dash out of an airborne graviton surge? 2. Can lifeweaver place the tree of life on graviton surge? If so, does it free people caught by it or destroy it altogether? 3( repeated from the previous video). Can lifeweaver pull an ally towards him if it lands at the same time as a roadhog hook?

Love these videos! Thank you! I have 5 thinks to ask/share please. 1. If the enemy picks up Parting Gift, does it count as a healing for your statistics on the leaderboard? 2. Can Sym TP be used to move the Tree of Life or Parting Gift? Similar to how Bob, DVa Bomb and Torb Turret etc. 3. There is a bug on the leaderboard at the moment when playing Lifeweaver, if you look at the right hand side under Tree of Life healing, it’s actually wrong. It goes up in multiples of 50 regardless of how much it actually heals each teammate. When you first place the ToL and if the teammate is missing just 30hp, it will show up as 150hp on the leaderboard. However, this doesn’t affect overall healing output statistics. 4. I did a cool interaction whereby I knew I was about to die as Lifeweaver, I immediately placed a platform below my model, and died as the platform ascended. My Parting Gift was now safely in the air. Watching from respawning POV, I saw my tank was low health and walking below my raised platform, and I broke it, and healed my tank while I was dead! Sweet! May be worth mentioning that you can break the platform while respawning. 5. Does Moira Coalescence pass through Petal Platform while it is raised and you are on it?

As more heroes and abilities are added the number of niche interactions grow exponentially 😂 Great video! Good to know the tree destroys lamp and ice wall. I wonder if it destroys other deployables too like torb turret...

Man I was really hoping I could pull Orisa while she was ulting. Those would be some sick plays.

ive seen a clip on tiktok of a lifeweaver pulling a dvas self destruct and leaving baby dva behind, but it was right as she was deploying it, so i assume the timing has to be precise

Also, being on top a petal is just low enough in height to still contest a point so if your by your own and trying to stall, pop one down and crouch to stall for a fair amount of time

Props to the Devs for thinking out and testing these interactions so thoroughly!

i was using the tree to make Meteor stike of the enemy df useless, didn't think it would work with sigma's ult

Can you grip junkrat when he's in a rip-tire startup animation? (When he puts tire down and kicks it) or does it cancel the ult?

From what I’ve seen while playing rein I’m pretty sure if you place the platform on a ramp or something it will block the shatter

if junkerqueen hits someone with her knife can she override the lifeweaver pull? does the knife stay on them while being pulled? can she pull them in after the LW pull is over? can junkerqueens knife & hanzo sonic arrow attach to the bubble of lifeweaver pull and have it attach to someone else after the bubble goes away? can doomfist diag / bounce off the petal? (ye he can xd)

4:43 you technically can grab bomb AS she leaves it. I’ve seen it happen in game 💀

Sad fact: Lifeweaver can pull a tracer that already blinked around the corner if timed right (badly?). This will result bringing Tracer back into combat even though she is already far away in a safe place. And no refund on blink charges. Happened to me :(

You can counter a ulting orisa with the petal pretty easy. Just Loft her up when shes charging and no one will get damage. Pretty neat.

So you can step on a petal wall and stay in air longer When used against immortality field, tree of death is the more appropriate name.

Can Tree of Life destroy other deployables such as Torb’s turret or Symmetra’s deployables?

about the dva bomb getting life gripped I think is possible for like 1 frame click I have seen a clip of it somewhere

If you are slammed onto a petal platform during sigma flux, do you take damage? This happened to a rein in one of my games and he did not take damage, but i want to know if this is a bug. Thanks for your awesome content!

This shows just how much work Blizzard put in to get this ability in the game. Special cases and exceptions everywhere

On a very rare ocassion I’ve had an enemy Dva bomb land on my pedal and lift it up in the air and no one took damage and I saved my whole team.

You can have a 1 000 000 damage reduction if you grab someone at the last second when he falls off the Map (ex: Rialto) pretty useful for challenges 😊

Does lifeweaver gain healing on the scoreboard when an enemy picks his passive up? I wonder what the scoreboard would’ve looked like with dva’s bug healing in overwatch 1

3:23 I want an interaction where Mei's Wall falls down and crushes people like Call Mech. If they can make the super weird exception of EMP hitting Blizzard for lore reasons, we can have this silly interaction too!

Can you make a video on the difference of channeled ultimates that can be stunned and transformation ultimates like genji, ram, mercy? How do stuns affect them?

I'm expecting Lifeweaver's platform super jump to be here! Figured it out on my own, but if not, basically if you jump while the platform is going up, you get a super jump!

Yo that Pharah ult life grip might be a play maker

Can Lifeweaver pulls genji when he has dragon blade? Or can you pull hanzo when he activate the dragons

Can you try the sigma ukt platform again, but wait until they get lifted up and then break it

If an enemy picks up the parting gift - does that also count towards ult charge? Or if the enemy then gets a kill, is that an assist for the Lifeweaver? The betrayal.

Can you pull a rein mid ultimate off high ground? Secondly can you sym TP after being pulled as rein before the earth shatter begins

Can you piledrive the platform as ball and still get the ground targets when the platform lifts up? Can you do a mini piledrive under the platform? (really hard to do) Do mines damage tree or does tree destroy mines?

There's also some cool tech where you can throw your platform ontop of Tracer's pulse bomb and you negate all of its damage. So whenever a tracer misses bomb on me I just throw down a platform on bomb and it does 0 damage.

Do players take less damage during Sig Ult if they are slammed onto a petal platform that was created/raised during the Ult (after the players were lifted by the Ult themselves)?

Life grip + high noon pretty good combo possibly then. I wanna see it happen

You can grip the DVA bomb, there is a very VERY short time frame to do it but you can grab the bomb I have accidentally done it a few times 😭

What are the odds that you and i get charged by rein on the EXACT SAME spot of Monte Carlo, in the EXACT SAME way of lifeweaver saving someone else and killing us

I think you misunderstood the blocking gravitic flux with the platform. I assume they waned you to try to put it right under you as soon as you see the outline, so as a way to get out of the range

Can LW interrupt Rein's ult? Would LW's ult save from others ults? Moira, Rein? Can you make a tree right in Zarya's ult? If yes, what would happen?

The clip ended slightly too soon to say for sure (although I think the second happens), but at 6:36 when you pulled the Genji out of Sigma's ult, does Sigma still hover and finish the animation of his ult, or does he fall down similar as if he'd miss his ult on any enemy?

Can you be targeted by friendlies while being life gripped, Zarya bubble, healed, orbed nano? Are non damaging enemy abilities like sonar on a wall, discord or hack able to work gripped enemies?

Do you get a shorter cooldown on carnage if you swing on the tree of life as junker queen?

The mei ult freeze doesnt really work or at least not 100%, I tried it once last week and the guy ended up freezing instantly after the pull. Looks like since its not a complete cleanse it just left him with the same freeze percentage while being pulled.

Can you teleport tree of life or petal platform? What happens if you teleport while life gripping someone?

Can Sombra be pulled the moment she uses EMP? And if so, where does the EMP area of effect end up?

Since Petal blocks Symmetra’s turrets line of sight, can he deny a turret bomb?

you can increase lifeweaver healing blossom arch if you quickly flick your cursor up or to the side AFTER you release the blossom, that could help you avoid barriers better? maybe?
