I wonder if you start sharing these videos to individual developers on their socials if we can start bringing some more attention to this. We need to get videos like this into the hands on the devs them selves. Maybe at least someone will see the possibilities
I dont know honestly, im just providing gameplay with gyro aiming, so that people have some gameplay to be able to find with gyro usage. I thought with the implementation of the gyroscope in fortnite there wouldve been more interest overall, but that wave kinda shimmered down, real quick. Im not sure what the next big thing would be, to get more gyro coverage( maybe the overwatch aim assist controversies).
I'm a dev, I've got these at my hands, and been loving gyro ever since summer 2017, when I discovered Steam Controller :D Definitely making every single one of my games support gyro (if they are not fixed-camera top-down games like the one I'm making rn)
Lol this in the first time i have seen a controller player id want to queue up with. No offense but aiming on mouse is just so much better, I wish they would add gyro controlls to the ps4/ps5 versions of the game, it would make cross play with pc much closer to fair.
I'm new to flick stick and I'm really struggling to get vertical flickshots right. Playing on Steam Deck and I've got my gyro vertical sensitivity to 150% because otherwise I cannot got up fast enough, but that messes up my aim regardless. Any tips?
I personally dont own a steam deck, so i cant say for sure, but since the steam deck is such a heavy and big device it would be really tough to flick around with the gyroscope. What i would do, rather than using flick stick, you could use a really high sensitivity analog stick, the idea would be to setup your aim with the stick and do the last bit of micro correction With the gyroscope.
