i was trying to get a rank for the first time ever, and while queing up with a friend, we went against both bronzes and grandmasters, ended up getting gold 3 as rein and friend got gold 2 as dps, still felt really awful 2 unranked people going against bloody diamonds and GMs.
Same thing happened to me today. I was trying to get my dps placements to see what rank I'm on (bc I'm now playing comp and I didn't play OW before OW2) and I played against masters dps.....
Bro zens an actual problem, the fact that he can put a spooky grape on someone's head and can make even the most powerful tanks like ball completely invalid is absurd
I know this probably isn’t useful but with rammattra’s omnic form, you can actually keep shooting the head and it kinda pumps out enough damage to give the hog some pressure
I played Rein quite a bit in QM and I have to ask, why do you swing at walls the enemies are coming to? Is it to punish the advancing opponent or something?
Hit gm 2(console) cuz there were so many mismatches. Also had few games where a mnk player was on my team and it was unfair for the other team but a games a game 🤣
Solo que is all about luck, not skill. It's luck about team mates skill and if they can play as a team. You don't need skill in lower levels to gain rank, but even if you have skill it doesn't save you from losing rank if you are unlucky with teams. Comp is a joke at the moment.
I played solo que and couldn't get out of silver 4 because I kept getting paired with bronze 5. I qued around 10 or so games with my friends and didn't lose a single one straight to gold.
I have been waiting for more rein play from flats for a while and i thought he would be playing rein a lot this season because he is good now but it’s good to see it even if it’s just for a little

Better than the Unranked Competitive experience. Played Competitive to get ranked yesterday. Found out that unranked players can pair up with _Diamond_ somehow. Was not good to see the disparity in skill level and the (understandable) frustration in teammates when I wasn't performing to their level. So far, I've had 7 demands to delete the game. Thanks Blizzard.
The Zen takes that Flats has are on point. I can't just play tank because there's that tiny little robot on the backline tosing a purple orb on my head everytime I get off cover
Why is there Zen hate now, but no one bats an eye towards Ana? Her anti-nades can easily change a fight on their own, and that’s just a standard ABILITY. Plus, it shuts down other support ults, for example; Zenyatta’s. She has great healing output on her own, which she can boost hers and the other supports with the grenade. Yes, the best use for it is anti, but sometimes you need a burst of healing. Plus, sometimes you get both healing boost and anti with one nade. She gets a hard CC that has an EGREGIOUSLY sized hit box. It’s really not that hard to land hits with it. At the best of times, you are shutting down an ultimate entirely either by cancelling a channeled ultimate, or sometimes having a roaming ultimate be timed out if they sleep the whole duration. At its worst, you are stunning someone for around a second, which is still incredibly useful. Her ultimate is probably the second best in the game. Practically instant cast that gives a huge burst of health, and turns anyone into a tank with the damage resistance it applies. Not to mention the increase in damage. It’s great to start engagements with, and a great get out of jail free card. At this point, the only thing holding Ana back is Kiriko. However, Kiriko only gets one cleanse to use on either sleep or anti. Plus anti comes back faster than Suzu anyways. No matter the situation, you CAN’T go wrong with Ana. Even if you don’t do a lot of damage and don’t land huge Anti’s, you can still provide a fair amount of value by just pumping a shit ton of healing across the map. Obviously you shouldn’t heal bot as Ana, but if you are having trouble doing damage, a heal bot Ana isn’t the worst thing you can do. The only time I can think to NOT play Ana is if the enemy team is running a heavy dive comp, hyper focusing you, and you get NO help from your team. I kind of wanted an excuse to rant about Ana, because lately I feel like she has been a huge pain in the ass, especially when I my team makes no effort to help target her. Winston was my reliable answer, but with the recent Mercy heal buff, that becomes a lot more difficult.
