Bro immortality field lasted so long in overwatch 1. Did anyone else notice in the double shield clip it outlasted a dragon.

OW2 has a massive balancing issue, too many heroes that have all 3 relevant categories (mobility, sustainability/survivability, and damage) too high, Mauga for example feels unfun to fight against, his good DPS allows him to shred other tanks, his massive HP pool keeps him alive way too long aswell as his Lifesteal, and when you do get him low, he hits a 180 and uses an ability to straight up dip

jay, they have to make the game more casual to bring in more players before they flip it and start up their competitive side again. honestly it's not a bad thing and it's kinda smart in a money grabby kinda way aswell as giving newer players to join and adjust to the game after more ppl get comfortable with the game, or they have these kinda changes added that they'll probably keep for quick play, they did remove OWL so going casual to bring in more people is a smart move by them. then they can start making more serious tweak to revive the comp scene.

Sorry Jay, but it’s Support, not Healer. The amount of games that have hinged on me going into the backline and killing the enemy supports because the DPS aren’t doing their job… Requires a bit of coordination with the other support (mainly checking they can last alone for a bit), but if I didn’t personally go and kill their supports it’s just a lost game. Same with securing kills with the team. Mercy flying away? Am I gonna turn and heal the 75%+ hp tank or kill the Mercy flying in for a rez at like, 5hp while the team’s not looking? Now I don’t disagree with you for the most part. If your tank is getting hammered, heal them. But as with any game, health is a resource, if they’re not dead you’re doing your job as a support (preferable outcome being keep them in the hp range for armour if they have any, but so long as you’re keeping them above 1, you’re doing your job)

The supports heal first is a bad take to say to lower rank players who don't do almost any damage and higher level players heal to avoid death, but not just top off the tank.

Healing isn't the only priority and it isn't the top priority, damage is just as important for a support because they don't just heal. They support the team in every possible way, crowd control, antihealing, damage boost, healing and doing damage are how support is supposed to be played. However I do agree kiri is broken (I'm a kiri/Ana player btw jay) and she needs a slight nerf to her damage but to balance that out would be to up her healing output and most players would complain even more that nothing dies due to higher healing output so would you rather have a skill based one shot, a random hanzo arrow to the face or nothing dying in your games? I don't think their would be a good way to balance kiri out without reworking the way her kit functions and making her more similar to doomfist or Ana where they have a one-shot combo or had one rather then being a random mini hanzo although I would like to hear someone else response to that I just think it would be impossible to nerf that damage without reworking her kit and honestly I'd rather get one-shot then die to junk rat spam anyday of the week

Yeah supports are supposed to help out their team, Healing and damage boosting them, As mercy if you check the kill cams and deaths if you look at the right side you can see rezes,How much healing and damage boosting beams you’re using I try to do 50 and 50, but don’t worry not all matches will let you do that also if you do damage boost on someone that isn’t attack the blue beam will still go up which I find really cool

I feel like the heal passive will actually make dps supports on your team less annoying to deal with. Now you have more personal agency of your health, and if you have a dps support that doesn’t know that they can heal, now it’s at least a bit less painful. I don’t want to speak too soon, but if they do this right with the heal passive, it should make supports still need to heal their team, just not flanker dps can be more independent considering non flanker dps can get healed by any support, but flanker dps can only get healed by supports with long range or can get to them safely, like an Ana or kiri

When I play support I always play kiri but I only heal, always have the most healing every game and yet still lose most games cause my tank be dumb, I rarely dps with kiri unless I have to

I’m sorry did he say that supports are only for healing like bro they may as well be called HEALERS then. Supports are there to yes heal but also to help support ur team by helping getting quick picks etc they can dps hence why they have weapons to do so
