Honestly I disagree with you a lot. This event is celebrating overwatchs launch. We just got a new meta, events like these aren't for just to fix competitive. This is marking a new year for new fixes, so just be patient. I'm sorry they don't have mega competitive events, but this is not for you to rip on just because you don't comp. I mean overwatch is growing, you don't only have to worry about competitive, there are changes coming that you just need to wait for. They don't add a new add something new for competitive and have the casuals complain, about how it doesn't add a new skin just because they want they're mode to only be worked on.

Lil Thanos while I do agree that you can give legitimate criticism with negative videos since usually the harshest criticism comes from a place of love, Sam has a point with his last statement. This is an anniversary event, not a hotfix. I feel as though if they also added balance changes to this event it would dilude and muddle what content is there because they are focused on making changes to this meta.

Lots of people in the comments are saying things like "if you hate the game so much, just stop playing". I don't think that's quite right, because if he didn't like the game he wouldn't be so concerned about it being fixed and improved. Overwatch has been in need of a competitive mode fix for a very long time and the longer they take to do it the worst it is for the future of the game. Edit: IMO we need fixes much more than new skins and arcade modes that go away after a couple of weeks.

I think the issue you’re having is assuming they have more fixing to do in the areas you describe. I think they need to do more work on how people play the game than hero balance. Has it never occurred to you people are learning to play around a static hero like Brigitte... LIKE THEY LEARN TO PLAY AROUND ALL STATIC HEROES? Lack of mobility = short shelf life on the top of the meta. Once people learn they can avoid you or play around you, it’s downhill from there.

If you want more frequent balance patches, play other games. SMITE has one every 1-2 months, though the pace is going to slow down for the summer like it does with all multiplayer games.

This is an event not a balance patch, while I do agree that they should give more info on future balances and stuff, I don't see why they have to do it every event. Also this and your previous vids has been nothing but negativity and make you sound like your just fed up with the game. Sure your giving out good criticism but you have been putting so many vids like this so much lately its getting stale, your not being informative and your repeating the same points you've putting out in every vid over and over again. I think the competitive side for them is really minor compared to the majority so they dont really give a shit about it. It adequate so no need to revamp it. Also the team will be smaller. Matchmaking been busted for a while-- getting all sorts of SR on the different teams and in QP and Arcade the MMR is just garbage. Had too many games in which my team is low gold except for me but then the enemy team is diamonds and masters then another game I have the diamond and masters + on my team. It makes no sense.

The problem is the game isn’t broken because of one character. It feels so much better now. I used to skip out on competitive until now because it would dominate by all these characters I never wanted to play. People would always call me a game thrower for not picking characters I didn’t know how to play, but now I can play pretty much anyone and win.
