And to think they could solve everything about game balance by having a competitive balance and a quickplay balance. You already split the queues, let the casuals play the actual casual game mode and let the tryhards play with settings that work for them. Everybody wins.

@@kingauther7812 Ok. Then ig the large massive fanbase OW used to have just disappeared by itself. I suppose I'm just being a baby, I'm sure OW totally isn't just barely hanging onto relevancy because of the awful decisions made by the dev team. Yeah....I'm just whining.

I half agree and half disagree. The the type of things that were being released (cinematics, short comics etc.) Built on the world and expanded character lore to make the heroes feel much more alive. Then we had the drought and that was about the time the communities started giving up. The world stopped being fun and that wasn't really cause the dev's were doing balances and other in game related things cause a good number animators remained active up until like roughly 2 years into the drought. I dont see any of them willing to come back to OW2 though cause most of the characters have been basically flanderized and the new characters (comparably) feel much more lifeless than the original designs of older characters. The game lost it's heart. Dont blame balancing though, if there wasn't balancing this game wouldnt spawn any love in the first place cause it wouldnt be a fun game for anyone.

For my part, I suggest To Binge, especially "Ana's first nano"
