I know their main reason to compete is to win, but it does suck how all my favorite players either quit or were removed due to Korean player dominance. I watched the grand final earlier today, and while I recognized some Shanghai players, I felt completely disconnected. Too many factors, really... Covid ruining in-person events, Moving from Twitch to RU-vid (who doesn't seem to care much about stream integration,) Almost every 'city' being represented by a single country (Korea,) This video was very enjoyable to watch, but in a bitter-sweet sort of way.... T_T
@@malthehansen7915 It's the in person blizzard arena thats the difference. There are equally as many insane plays/ stupid moments in the past 2 years of OWL as there were in the first 2. Pine's domination on Ilios is comparable to EQO on Rialto in season 3, there's the time Lip emp'd off a cliff to make a pharamercy fall to death on Ilios, Lastro saying "Sex. Big dick." in match chat, etc.
@@phob1aa876 Pro Zenyattas are great multitaskers, since Zen can do everything at once they don't really have a priority. Although if there is a priority, 99% of the time it's Discord, since that will have more impact in a pro game than 30 hp/s
OW diddnt had alot of content. The thing OW got killed with, is the usual nBlizzard beeing too dumb to balance stuff. Overall the balancing killed this game and i dont see it getting better with OW2
God damn, the Overwatch League is another realm all together. You can never predict what's about to happen. Whether it's quality meme material, or just pro plays (or a bit of both) All we need now is Shanghai to make a comeback in stage two and OWL really is gonna be off its head

TheMasterKrook I really hope the Dragons are gonna win a Match very soon they were very strong against the Valiant especially on Hanamura they've shown some "sick" plays, they may not be 100% sick but they had some crazy plays on their part too. I just want the Dragons to win soon because they are actually one of my fav Teams in the OWL but they still need to up their communication a little and maybe have a tad more team plays and maybe they'll start winning a Map or two until they eventually and finally win an entire series of Maps/a Match.

@@nnn4376 owl s2 pure goats, mei/reaper comps and more boring and sleeper comps. S1 was a blast, the finals were kinda disappointing but it was the best season of enjoyment
owl is sadly gone and with overwatch one yes we have two be we all know nothing will have the same vibe as this i saw this video when it came out and id do anything to go back
Season 1 stage 1 was when I most enjoyed the OWL, then it went slowly downhill to the point I couldn't care less about it. Fun video, got it recommended now for some reason.
