David Yara for an evil healer i would prefer the hazmat suit guy from the first trailer to be a chemical warfare madman fired from ovetwatch and contracted by talon to create chem weapons for them, we already have an omnic healer, too soon for another one i think

The thing that really caught my attention was Doomfist mentioning to Reaper the uprising in London. "Who would've known that Overwatch would get involved" he said. But we absolutely know that it was Gabriel who pushed the entire operation, sending Mc Cree unauthorized, pressuring Morrison into sending a squad and even walking said squad through the key part of the operation himself. Does Doomfist know he was such an important force into stopping the uprising?

I still think that Reaper is screwing with all of them. He IS sentimental and he's not going to kill Soldier and Ana. That's why he let them go. That's why he shot the model on the ceiling to trap Winston in one of the trailers instead of taking a headshot and ending it all. And Doomfist knows. Doomfist just killed some Talon leaders that he thought were detrimental to his group and his view. He killed them in Reaper's presence. That's a low-key threat. Edge daddy gonna have to bail, because Doomfist is onto him. Sombra will probably follow.

widow's carnevale outfit looks like her swan lake inspired legendaries, just in red. but harlequin sombra and the evening gowns would be awesome. reaper and doomfist...i don't know. i think their carnevale outfits could go either way, they could look great or go really wrong and look ridiculous.

Be weird if Blizzard released a red version widows odette/odile skin but with a new rifle like in the cover. But having sombra and widow in dresses, doomfist in a suit, and the other masquerade outfits would be pretty sick.

That costume is a dead ringer for the Red Death costume worn by the Phantom in the Broadway production of _Phantom of the Opera_. With that said, I too would love to see that one, Harlequin Sombra, Doomfist's tuxedo, and both the slinky dresses as skins. (Casino Sombra is on par with Regal Symmetra, IMO)

That red reaper outfit would look good as a skin, however I'm not sure about Sombra's jester skin. If it does get used she should create smoke when she goes in and out of invis instead of using her digital effects, as it'd definately fit the trickster theme more. However, this would be difficult for her hacking ability as smoke wouldn't work, so they could change it to her using puppet strings to suit it more.

As soon as Doomfist was presented as being this intelligent Talon leader, I immediately thought about how Sombra is doing her own thing, and many people theorize that so is Reaper, and I felt that Doomfist would see through that and call them out on it. And he did. Reaper had plenty of opportunities to kill Winston, Ana and Soldier76, but he let them all go. He IS sentimental. He will not kill them. This could make him a detriment to Talon under Doomfist. Doomfist already killed other Talon leaders he saw as a detriment. He killed them in front of Reaper. That's a low-key threat. I can easily see Reaper hving to bail out of Talon, and Sombra might follow when he does.

I'm wondering if Reaper's masquerade outfit is a nod to The Phantom of the Opera? The Phantom has a very similar costume when he shows up in the masquerade in the stage show (no so much the movie but the movie isn't that great anyway haha). Either way it would make an awesome skin!

Nice, I'm just happy to see a continuation of an overarching plot thread! The last real, significant story beat (that wasn't *just* 'a new hero is out') was in November, with sombra blackmailing Volskaya to her ends, and setting up a Zarya VS Talon subplot. Now we're seeing some reminders of the whole Katia Volskaya / Sombra thing, and we're seeing things move forward in a way that isn't just a polished hero announcement. I look forward to seeing where it goes!

Also to note. Talon REALLY like to dress up. Widow is good at gambling. Sombra and Widow not being invited to the Talon meetup Doomfist almost being Reaper's boss.

Sombra isn't a Talon leader and Widowmaker is basically just a weapon to them. It's normal that they wouldn't be at the higher-ups meeting. But yeah Reaper was confirmed to be into cosplay a long time ago.

One of the most important things we see in this comic that a lot of people over look is that single panel focusing on that jester looking character at the end of the table during the Talon Council meeting. Something about having a panel dedicated to just him on top of having such a stand out design leads me to believe he will play a big role down the line of Overwatch, potentially even being a playable character in the future. Also we NEED skins from this asap. * Dapper Doomfist * Masquerade Doomfist * Casino WM * Inquisition Reaper * Jester Sombra all need to be a thing

I like the fact that widowmaker and sombra talk in their own languages. Not like In the game when only some voice lines involve their native languages. It's a nice touch that blizzard's characters don't all talk in English 100% of the time

My favorite thing about Doomfist is that he isn't just a "DEATH, KILLING, MURDER, SMASH, DARKNESS" character like reaper is. He's closer to a Bond villain with how calm, civilized, premeditated, and highly intelligent he and his actions are. Its like he has a goal, a plan, and is actually taking realistic steps to get there (instead of building a [doomsday device] using a [mcguffin of power] as an energy source). Not qualities normally attributed to usual villains. Esp characters with punching things as their main shtick. He gives off heavy Lex Luthor vibes. Anyone else getting that?

So reaper did get a lot of overwatch members from hacking athena in "Recall" For example, remember reaper in Reflection comics where he was chasing a family? They, or at least one of them is dead, because "reaper's to do list"

One thing worth noting is that it is very important that the general silhouette stays the same for skins. The masquerade Doom Fist outfit wouldn't be able to fit his general silhouette, either would reapers. However jester Sombra fits her silhouette very easily so we are definitely going to see that one. Its also worth noting that the Widowmaker skin on the cover doesn't actually exist yet (in that color anyway) so we might be seeing that.

This is AMAZING!!!!! This is a great blend of my fanfic about a peace summit at Versailles and my theory about Talon's council. It destroys some of my ideas, but it adds to the ones I have left and creates so many new ones as well. I'm particularly liking analyzing Maximilian and looking at Sombra's work through Doomfist and Reaper's eyes. Maximilian, by the sounds of his lines, seems like he may have known the original Doomfist, or at least been around long enough to see Talon's plans be started. As for Reaper keeping tabs on Sombra, I'd love to know just how much he knows. Does he know about the conspiracy that she's dove into or that she has enough info to potentially topple all of Talon if she wants to? As well, Doomfist says he likes initiative, but how far would that go considering Sombra's dubious nature and self-serving agenda?

It's been a whole year and there finally seems to be some sort of narrative intrigue and plot in Overwatch! Something that interested me was when Doomfist compliments/flirts with Widowmaker about London Sombra cuts him off but Widow seems pretty intent on ignoring her boss or at least not talking to him. I wonder how the dynamic of Widow/Amelie works considering she's practically a slave to Talon.

In the last few panels with the Talon leadership, aside from Maximilien, there's another noteworthy character in the one where Reaper sits down. He looks like he's wearing some sort of robe/coat and has reddish hair and a hawkish looking face. I think that design is distinct enough that he may be a future character, perhaps? Also a map in Venice would be amazingly gorgeous and I want it.

Now it's confirmed there are Omnic Talon members, nothing would be crazier than seeing a debuff-based Omnic member that uses electric whips and wants to inspire fear as a form of control be eventually added to the list. Almost like an inquisitor, plus I've yet to see a hero focused around the idea of weakening enemy attacks, would make her/him a valuable defense hero.

Doomfist refusing to acknowledge his behavior as criminal is an interesting but sort of OoC move given what we already know of him. He's a smart man, good at getting the reaction he wants out of people. How would he have no self awareness over how people are seeing him?

I cant help but reckon they're working up to another brawl, only this time, you may be playing as talon breaking in and hunting down other Talon members, with these skins as unlockable for this brawl event, a brawl as the Talon 4 would be absolutely amazing and a ton of fun, unique gameplay with a combination of sniper support and Doomfist and Reaper's strength, not to mention some cool Sombra mechanics, like possibly hacking doors and shields. A brawl seems the likely option, now that there are 4 playable talon members.

So with the Reaper being too sentimental thing, that is probably a jab at why Reyes died in the explosion of Overwatch's HQ even though we don't know what happened, it does leave a theory open that Reyes did something he shouldn't have, like going to confront Morrison or if he got discovered by him not just putting a gun to his head and pulling the trigger, which would lend to why Reaper doesn't have any kind of retort since he is beating himself up over it just as much

I don't like the fact that Reaper takes orders so willingly from doomfist. I thought he was an edgy loner that did things on his own terms while working with talon. I mean that was his main deal when he was in OW, he had a problem with authority. Maybe Reaper respects a black man in charge instead of a white man.

One thing I found interesting was when they were talking about the uprising and doomfist saying who would have expected Overwatch to get involved.Reaper was there, why wouldn't he or doomfist bring that up? Doomfist clearly knows reaper is Gabriel based on his Sentimental question. Mysteries....

Maximillion is a business man. Think of him as someone who looks out for his own personal interest, so long as you are not a direct threat or contradiction he holds no favor/hate for anyone. Out of respect for his past with Doomfist he can't agree with the people that want Doomfist gone, but he also has no direct reason to help him in his current state.

I really do hope that the Venice and Casino wear will become skins. They looked amazing and would really give a nice flair to the current skins. I'm really curious to see more about Talon, especially with how Akande/Doomfist handles things. Also Maximilian as a new character would be amazing. I wonder how he would interact with Zenyatta..

Can I talk about Widowmaker? Because apparently she's dead. Ponder this, when a person is brainwashes in the similar manner that Amelia is, they are given a different name in order to cement the new identity. The fact they aren't calling her by her call sign is evident (to me) that Amelia is aware of everything. Even aware of what was done to her. And she's still on Talon's side. I'm very curious about her now, and her story.

It wouldn't surprise me if her maker was already dead at this point, although i wouldn't think it was her that killed them. The stereotypical prima ballerina personality is that of an aristacratic sadist, and she has that personality from what we've seen so far.

Guessing the story of Overwatch is very improvisational. If they've made a comic for Doomfist and Talon and Jeff admitted that the team never thought of the word as anything more as a gauntlet in a cinematic. Guessing it's not set in stone...

My biggest problem with this comic was that it was incredibly vague in several places. Was Vialli the guy that Doomfist threw over the cliff, or was he the one that Widow shot? Is Vialli even dead? We really don't know for certain who Talon took out in this comic in either scene. This was still a great comic and I enjoyed learning more about Talon's inner-workings, but I wish there was more clarity on what was what exactly was accomplished here.

I NEED that Reaper skin! I'm a Reaper main and my god this looks incredible! Love the tribute to Phantom of the Opera with this skin. Sombra looks pretty cool as well and honestly I would love to run around as an evil jester. That being said...I felt Widow in the dress and Doomfist in the suit was just...okay. They would be new skins, but I don't really need them. In fact I would be more for the outfit Doomfist wears at the end of this comics.
