Police arrested 292 people at Columbia University and the City College of New York as tensions rise between local authorities and pro-Palestine protesters. Meanwhile, the New York Police Department is also standing by at Fordham University as demonstrators grow in numbers. The school administrations should never have permitted the encampments to happen. They have rules and the rules were violated. They're not children. Treat them like adults and bill them for the extra police service.

I know agitators are involved in many of these protests that began as well-intentioned, peaceful, student protests. Those protests I believe at their inception were peaceful, fundamentally anti-war against the killing of innocent Palestinian civilians, not anti-Semitic & not pro-Hamas. There is too much over-simplfication by media in very complicated issues.
