Thank gawd! I thought I was losing my mind. I’ve had an Owala for a while and just didn’t get the Stanley hype. With the 2.0 I thought they made it like the Owala but I just bought one (Stanley 2.0) for my niece and tested it myself and it spills. Yeah, it’s a cup so it’s all-good, but why not get an Owala and have all your cup dreams come true? And the Owala is expensive as hell too. At $40, it’s not cheap. I feel the Stanley cult members are just that and no amount of facts will change their mind. They think they’re fancy. It’s cool…let your kids spill yo shit. I’m gonna sleep well as night knowing my Fruit Punch Crystal Light will stay in my cup when my 5-year-old tears through the living room like he’s possessed by a demon and knocks my cup over…again.
LMAO i love this comment! You get it! Yes its a cup but if i can spend the same amount on a cup that wont make a huge puddle if it happens to be tipped over ill take that anytime. I have a few Stanleys but when they first got big but i wont get a new one anymore because mine tipped over in class once & i NEVER want to go through that mess again lol
I bought the tumbler and the water bottle from Owala... Because my two Stanley's kept spilling and leaking bad even with trying those spill stoppers... I wasn't really concerned about the lead... Mostly the leaking...
I really dont get the lead issue honestly because I dont tend to drop mine very much. I love the colors Stanley has but I am pretty careless on how I carry my tublers at times & I hate having to watch how I hold my tumbler.
The Owala! I definitely think its because the ice in the Stanley's are more exposed. If you mean overall for any brand....Hydroflask HANDS DOWN. From going to the beach in the blazing sun from 10am-5pm I still have half a tumbler for of ice from the morning.
