Owasso has 2 of my favorite stores as well, Academy and Atwoods

On Public Transit: Non-existent in Owasso. Uber/Lift anywhere in the Greater Tulsa Area hasn't been an issue for me when I needed it.

Awesome, thank you for your input! How long do you usually have to wait?

@@livingintulsaoklahoma : Depends on exactly where I am and the time of day, but I've never waited more than between 10 and 15 minutes, not even catching a ride to the airport at 4:30 in the morning.

Is there plenty low income housing there? I'm trying to get out of the sewage that is Albuquerque, NM. But affordable housing is important. And I mean affordable like low end of SS insome.

I will do some research on low income housing. I realize that affordable housing is a big issue in many places.

there's a few section 8 apartment complexes closers to our 'downtown' area, the redbud district. they can be a little sketchy but if you mind your business you'll be fine. there is no transportation, really, although there are a few services for seniors around. how old are you?

Did she say Owasso is 45 to 50 minutes from Tulsa??? Either she drives to Tulsa via Skiatook or she only does 25 MPH. She talks about Owasso's spiders, tornadoes and heat like the minute you leave Owasso there are no more spiders, tornadoes or heat! I got news for ya! all of what you call 'Owasso's' are in Oklahoma! HELLO!
@ndnpony

And you state in your description "What I [you] hate...about Owasso". Then please move from Owasso!

Hi, thanks for contributing! I love Owasso! I used that headline bc people will click on it and see that there really isn’t much bad about it! It takes me about 45 minutes to get to Owasso from where I live not to Tulsa.

We ARE thinking about moving to Tulsa and stumbled across your video! Super helpful information except for the part about spiders! Yeesh! In sodak, the spiders are tiny, they cant handle the winter! Thanks so much! #tulsaorbust

Oh my goodness!! That is so funny to me!! Our spiders will be pretty terrifying to you, but you will get used to them! 🤣 Just kidding, probably not...they still freak me out! But I do think you will love Tulsa! Reach out when you want to look at houses. I would love to show you around!

So are you proud your kids or grandkids you passed your values to are a part of a culture that drove a teenaged non-binary Native American girl (Nyx Benedict) to commit suicide? Are you saying Owasso has a culture that will hound and harass people who aren’t right wing Christian Nationalists until they are run out of town or end themselves?
@user-qx3we1mk5m
@user-qx3we1mk5m 15 дней назад
thats BS. im a proud lefty and i get along with my neighbors here just fine. no matter how you vote, good people are good people. i dont know when right wingers stole being decent and honest from the rest of the world, but we'd like it back, thanks. owasso is cool. it can be a little boring if youre from the city, but its right down the road from tulsa. most bad storms miss us, our schools are good, our bad neighborhoods arent too bad. theres people from all walks of life here.

Tulsa use to be one of the best towns in America, now not so much...too many illegals, homeless druggies, also seriously Tulsa needs to fix their arterial streets just ridiculous, even Springfield, Missouri does a better job...
@livingintulsaoklahoma
@livingintulsaoklahoma Год назад
No town is perfect for sure, but I really love Tulsa. You are right about the roads. And it is very heart breaking how mental health and drugs has increased our homeless population. There are areas I wouldn't go to in Downtown Tulsa, but other than those areas I feel safe.

So every homeless person is a druggie?? Paalease get a grip! This is a REAL ESTATE CHANNEL! How rude!

theres no need to be afraid of those folks. i've been down to the day center a couple times... i think that part of Archer frightens people because theres so many transients on the block. but they've gotta go somewhere, right? sadly, a lot arent really 'homeless' so much as 'unwelcome' cos of drugs. thats really sad... its kinda like society threw them away. using drugs doesnt make you bad, but the things they do to get them sometimes does. hopefully the new camping laws gov stitt signed force some of these folks to take assistance. you have to want to go on to keep living, but so many people are living in their own day-to-day hell just trying to keep from getting sick.

i really hope @davidlaney6153 is never at a point in his life where he has to live in his car, or in a tent by the side of the highway. im assuming you've never been homeless. i have. you could be a little more compassionate towards your fellow man. yes, some of them are absolutely useless and will never get better. but most of them are people. good ones, in fact.
