Voted the "Coolest Small Town in America" in 2009, Owego sits on the Susquehanna River roughly 17 miles west of Binghamton, 28 miles east of Elmira, 25 miles south of Ithaca and the Finger Lakes, and 7 miles north of the Pennsylvania border.
