i think they should get a more moody setup for a show like that. I don't know, get some sofas, warm lightning, rugs, whatever. But this always seems like it's a set of hella unconfortable chairs in front of a spacey cardboard wall in an office room.

+Luca van Grinsven Maybe. People baked out of their minds aside from Joey Diaz or Pete Holmes just don't have much to say. A great concept on paper but ultimately it's hard to pull a good convo out of most people when they're stoned to the gills. Not shitting on anyone or the show, I'd clam up and stare at the camera most likely.

+Markus Wright it's not even necessarily that. Because Doug is talking about getting fucked up off of 15 mg edibles. Is he 7? Lol But seriously. All he does in the show is make it about himself, talks over his guests, and as you can see in this episode, asks for everything for himself and doesn't even think about handing it over to the guests unless they ask for it. I mean come on Doug. You're the host. Be one.

He rarely has anything interesting to say. The only reason I watch the show (barely) is to hear the funny shit the guests have to say. Doug just seems like he hates his life and is jealous of everyone he has on the show. I listen to JRE and Joe Rogan does a great job with it. So I can just easily see the gap of professionalism between the two. Sad to see really

Tons of respect to Owen Benjamin for being a trooper. He was willing to do his best because he wants to be on the show but wasn't a consistent weed smoker, but he was willing to do his best to run with the big dogs. Craig Robinson seemed to clam up early on, but he started to relax pretty fast and he did a great job at punching things up when the show would have otherwise been lackluster.

Feel like this podcast would work well in long form (2-3 hours), you wouldn't have to rush through segments and guests could follow their train of thought (more free-flowing conversations). Love the show as it is, just a recommendation.
