Thanks for uploading this, Owen. I’m working on an audition for the San Francisco youth orchestra and it’s nice to know that even some of the highest caliber professionals have some warts and mishaps in their audition takes.
Thank you, glad you enjoyed it! In my experience audition committees are more interested in the bigger picture of musicality, tone, intonation and rhythm. If those four fundamentals are at a consistently high level I’ve noticed that committees will forgive even major mishaps. Hope all this helps and wish you all the best!
