He wasn't feeling well, sleeping alllll the time, we ended up hospitalized for a week and have been literally recovering all up until these last 2 weeks! Always push for your answers! Docs didn't test him for certain things I asked for in the beginning and after coming home, trying to heal more and then going back to the doctor, he showed EBV+ and they said he's had mono this whole time. Mono was one of the things I asked for them to test for...

Sanfilippo Syndrome, also known as MPSIIIA, it is a rare, genetic, degenerative and terminal disease. This means that Owen's brain will be permanently damaged by the bad cells that his body can clear out over time and he will eventually lose all skills - such as walking, talking, eating, etc. It is a childhood disease, also known as childhood Alzheimer’s and most, sadly, don’t make it into their teen years.
