I have never disliked any songs by Owl City, and I'm not starting now. This is awesome!!!

Hey, people! Anyone who begins the sentimental journey about how they miss the old Owl City. Don't you prefer listening to this kind of music (Owl City's new style) in radio stations THAN that mainstream songs which are, being honest, quite stupid? Adam's songs always have some kind of special, magical spirit! I love them, they're always so positive and inspiring. Let's cheer because of that! I am happy because he still creates new stuff!

We are so lucky to know that this song exist.

Most of what I love about his songs is that they don't seem forced, like some of the popular stars' songs are. It's refreshing.

I didnt really know owl city when it was at its peak but I've been listening to his songs two years ago when he didn't really post anymore, and I really wish i could just time travel to when things were better and listen to owl city music. His music really is enchanting.

This is the perfect balance between new and old Owl City in my opinion. I hope the album's like this, he just got it so right.

Ok I know people really miss the "old" Owl City and of course his older music holds a special place in our hearts, but just because he changed doesnt mean he's bad now. I know people werent the biggest fans of the midsummer station either, but Im happy Adam is doing what he loves and is going in his own direction and isnt conforming to popular demand. Im so happy that hes evolved from closeted insomniac to more lively energetic kind of stuff. NOT that it was a bad thing before!! I loved his old music, but Music inspires change and inspiration, and this is a perfect example. I dont think we should be begging for the old Adam back, we should embrace his new changes :)

You start to listen to an artist because you like what they're making, but when the style changes into something different to what you fell in love with, then you might not want to listen to them anymore. we dont have to fight about it guys, its totally understandable. i mean i love this guy and i love everything he does, even the stuff i dont like as much as other.

It's adamazing. It blends his unique old style with his new pop style, with a perfect blend of both reality and fantasy. So, he isn't quite vacant from his previous album's style, but it most certainly isn't a bad thing, especially since he was his on his own this time.

This is definitely one of my favorite Owl City songs. Probably one of my favorite songs in general.

I love how this sounds. Even if it is a little bit different than his earlier stuff, it has diversity and emotion in the music itself, not just the lyrics. His voice sounds so beautiful. So excited to hear the rest.

The love I feel for this song is strong

Adams inspired me in so many ways and i don't think i'll ever forget one of his songs. Been writing a book for two years and there has not been one single time where i haven't been listening to his music.. whether it's Owl City or Sky Sailing. Every song just inspires me and adds beauty to my writing and to see him come from nothing, just a guy in his room makes me believe in myself more after being an introvert and socially anxious guy all my life. Thank you Adam! BTW... this song is making my heart weak ;~;

I don't see what everyone is complaining about. This song and Beautiful Times are both proof that he hasn't left his old style of writing. The lyrics have just as much meaning as the ones on his older albums. In my opinion, this song is like a more "mature" version of his older stuff. Mature in the sense that he's grown musically and that it seems to be more refined lyrically and melodically.

Now, I know a lot of us viewers are tempted to pirate this right now. But before you do, ask your self "Does this song deserve my money?" to which the answer should be "Of course it does!" So instead of pirating this, head to iTunes, Amazon MP3 or the like, and buy it instead.

i feel like i know adam on a personal level. i follow him on all social networks and i keep up with his website and all that stuff and hes such a genuine person i feel like ive known him for years. you don't get that kind of feeling/connection with most musicians, and i think that's a big reason why he has such a devoted fanbase.

I think this EP is just a wonderful blend of each album Adam has made. The new wave synth of ATBAB and The Midsummer Station... the lyrics of Maybe Im Dreaming and Of June...the basis of Ocean Eyes. Truly a work of art.

This is brilliant ! It's very dance orientated, also I like how Adam has seemed to find Confidence in his voice, as brilliant as the old EP's are, there was a heavy music-to-vocal ratio, seems he is levelling it out nowadays :) !

I truthfully only became a hoot-owl 7 months ago. Even though I wasn't there at the start, I understand how you miss Adam's old music. Even though this is better than the Midsummer Station, (Which, even though it wasn't his old style, I thought it was at least okay) this clearly isn't his original style. But is it all that bad? He's still the same person, and even though his music has changed a bit, can't we all agree that it sounds beautiful in it's own way?

people say they miss the old owl city but this song is way more reminiscent to his old works than the last two albums he's released so everyone really needs to stop. i remember a couple years ago people bitched him out for not changing and sounding like he did in 2008 , SO HE CHANGED and now everyone is mad at him even though he didnt change at all!!! he just does different styles like an artist can draw in different mediums.

Alright, so this is coming from a die-hard fan of Owl City from WAY back. Say 2010-ish, back in the Vanilla Twilight, Fireflies, Rugs From Me to You, Umbrella Beach, etc. days. So, hear me out. I don't understand the fans being disappointed in his newer music. It still sounds relatively the same as he always has, and even then, if it sounds different, you don't have to listen to it, you know? You have the whole album of Ocean Eyes to listen to, if that's what's keeping you a fan. Besides, no offense to Owl City at all, but most of his songs already sound almost the same, just with different tunes and beats. This song, among others, still has that distinct Owl City flavor. Not to mention Adam Young's AMAZING voice that made me a fan of him to begin with. So, what's the problem?

Beautiful Times is completely a really really great music next level after those vanilla twilight, hot air balloon, if my heart was a house etc. It's always better than this Wolf Bite too. But when I listened to Wolf Bite after 2 times, I started loving it more and more. Sometimes you just need a different mood. Wolf Bite is more like midnight driving music - you should try it somehow. But yeah tbh I feel owl city's musics are for all any kind of moods.

Stop trying to keep adam in a box. He's making what you guys consider new music. In my opinion this is still his style. It reminds me of the old as beautiful times did. I bet my fucking life if he kept making the same music there would be the cunts who would start saying "oh your style has gotten boring, make new music." Dont be one of those people. Listen. Why all the Midsummer Station bashing? He collaborated for a couple of the songs on it, but the reason it was different was because he wanted it to be different. Nobody was whispering his ear, he was just trying something new and different. Not saying you have to like it, but don't try to disown it from him or anything.

Before this i had the Itunes previews on replay but now just keep this on loop. I loved the way Adams music has evolved and matured over time. There are plenty of people that like his older music better but its kinda cruel to wish him to create the same music over and over again. Adam loves creating new sounds. Every bit of music is different and very unique. Owl city for is my fav artist and will stay that way. Owl city forever!!!
