This is part of a mini project introducing pupils to reduction lino printing. The image is an owl but it can be applied to other subject matter.
In this video I demonstrate some inking common issues and some tips to avoid them. Issues like over or underpinning and ways to sort a cutaway area which has become filled with ink while printing.
In the next video I go onto demonstrate how to develop the reduction plate through a second cut.
