I loved the movie and this OwlBear blew me away. It’s such an amazing figure. I have 2 of the brown ones on pre order. I hope they keep putting out these monsters from D&D. Maybe we’ll get some kobolds, goblins and orcs eventually.

This is a great character for background shots. Especially if your Mythic Collection has a lot of custom creatures and stuff. Great Video as always Paul 👍

You can turn the neck piece around to allow the head to swivel further down

I agree… the whole beak/mouth area looks more comical than menacing. Probably should have had that reflected on the box graphics too. Wondering how many people bought this and were disappointed it looked a bit different than what was advertised and, more importantly, what it should actually look like as portrayed in the movie?

Hi Paul great review. I waited till the owl bears were on clearance got the white one and the brown one for $ 9.99. I didn't think they were worth full price. I agree they could have been made to look angrier looking, and the dots should have been sculpted feathers. keep making more reviews

I like it, mine isn't shipping until August 1st annoyingly. The brown one does look better, this one could come up nicer with some paint. Great review, actually hadn't realised she was quite this big until now

I got the white Diceling owlbear-basically a D&D transformer that folds up into a 20 sided die. Then they announced a brown one. I like that style better, but I already know from the white one that the creature form isn’t very good. Maybe I’ll get the brown action figure instead!

Wish list to improve on this figure would be a slightly smaller head, hinged beak, double hinge elbows/knees, angrier face, more neck/head movement. If only this critter looked like the box art/movie, would also be a plus. I agree, they made it cute looking. I guess they forgot kids like angry beasts too (I mean look at that black dragon they released). Also, Bigbadtoystore is shipping the brown version now, at the time of this post.

Nice video - I'm waiting for the brown version, but overall not too impressed with this figure. I also have a sizeable Mythic Legions collection, but this seems like more of a background character due to the sculpt and paint.
