The Knobstone Trail, spanning 58 miles, is the longest hiking trail in Indiana covering 20,000 ft of elevation change from the Southern Indiana border near Louisville, Kentucky to Salem, Indiana. Established in 1980, the trail runs through mostly Indiana and National public forests.
