Ok I have an 04... but I can't really see a use for this. Becsuse there isn't a while lot of room behind the seat. And you could just put things on the seat if you need to.

He's probably always adjusting his Amps or is always having to mess with them due to the shitty installation. I have 2 amps behind my seat as well but mine isn't cut down. Havnt seen those amps in 3 years

I would replace the back seat with a front seat if you wanna go this route. I carry some bulky items that cannot get wet as i dont have a cap on back. Hopefully i can build a better storage box on back. IDK. This way of cutting the retention bar is not ideal or practical without a lock mechanism i.m.h.o.

Hey I got a 2003 Chevy Silverado 2500 HD regular cab there is a center seat that doesn't fold down. I wish you would make a video on how to get that to go up and down so there's kind of like a center console😂

You have to replace it with one that does flip unbolt the driver and passenger seat and it picks up right out of it then bolt it all back in

@@alockworkorange7296Probably was a safety improvement. Those anchor points in cars for child seats are serious $hit. That seat not moving may have something to do with it not flying forward in a collision.

⁠you say that like you knew lol anyone that has one and that is mechanically inclined and works on their own stuff knows about this. I’ve never done it because I’m not lazy and I’d take the whole seat seat out and put a 60/40 seat back in. I guess I am lazy though since I haven’t done that so far, and my amp is mounted to the floor 🤷🏽‍♂️

I hate people that Jimmy rig things like this on vehicles… these kinds of things ruin the vehicle. Vehicles are meant to be stock and left alone. The minute you start messing with them, the whole vehicle is not only ruined, but devalued as well. There’s nothing worse than working on a car that somebody has completely Jimmy rigged or modified.

There’s good and bad mods buddy. My injector upgrade in my 96 k1500 from the cpi to mpi. That’s a mod and it increases value. Now smoke stacks in the back, that would be bad and devalue.
