Thank you for this Davina & Martin. I was in debt (a relatively tiny amount but still worrying to me) a couple of years ago and on the advice of Martin, moved it onto a 0% credit card, paid it off slowly (before the 0% finished) and made my last payment in February this year. Completely debt free now (except for my mortgage)! I read every single word of Martin's weekly emails for tips on money saving xx
Wow! I live in Canada and I have never once heard a financial expert speak with compassion towards people's reality like being a single parent, having an addiction or mental health challenge. One would feel less alone and far less ashamed with this type of support! It was a pleasure to listen to this interview.
Thank you for bringing this to your channel, your content shows how you care for people and their wellbeing. I love thing that help bring about solutions to peoples problem. I would love to see you do something similar on drug abuse issues too. It’s something close to my heart along with metal health issues. In most cases of drug abuse the 2 are always linked. Drug abuse can bring about very many negative, vile and judgmental comments from people. I would one day, love to see people throw out helpful, kind and positive solutions for those people who are in a bad place in their lives and in need of help too.
Very good talk with Martin. I am not in debt, but I have been in the past Martin Lewis wants to help young people. It’s a fact that some parents are not good with money and don’t teach their children about good money practice. So the next generation are the same as their parents and clueless about good money practices And so it goes on and on Martin wants to teach young people about money and savings to break this problem It’s not always people with good brains that are good with money! Handling money is common sense. Savings are important Everyone wants the most from their money and that leads them into problems.. I think that your talks with Martin Lewis are great and if you help just one person it’s a success Rebecca x
