they probably have a limiter on the board to ensure it hits only a certain top speed, if you open up the esc youll probably find a small circuit board that looks added on and seemingly serves no purpose, thats the limiter. thats only my guess tho

It's the speed controller. put a Stormcore on that joint and yup. 40+ is not out the question.

I know why u dont get better top speed. The settings in the esc/remote have a limit, so u need to fake the settings to get it too max out. Try use it again with the 47T pulley and set it to 60 or 66 in the settings (4,0 or more) and you will get much better top speed. If you gear down to get more top speed u shoulnt change the settings becouse it has a top speed limit.

I did notice it when i played around with the gear ratio settings and wheel size when i reconnected the board that it will always max out around 62km/h (38mph) even if i change pulleys so it should go faster.. that menas that they limit the power output instead. (And the remote also shows around 5km/h more then GPS speed on all wheels i tryed out)

@@robertgodette4678 Reconnect the remote to the board. When both are turned off, hold power button for 5s and it start pairing. Then you can set wheel size, gear ratio etc.

Was thinking the same thing, but at the end of the day, my ZP is a beast and I can't really want or need for more speed.... I'm just getting accentuated to the torque and speed with this board and if it's regulated or governed .... I'm okay with it!

@@MyWorldAsDylan dude it's awesome . The BOAs are great but PU and carbon aren't the best for my ratchet ass streets. Lmk when yours comes in and how you're loving it! I was torn between ZP and Hurricane but the small touches on the ZP are so satisfying. Though the drop on that Hurricane looks amazing.

@@acekeianar hahaha you got me even more psyched 🤣🤣🙌! Amigo, I had the EXACT same dilemma 🤣. But I wanted something different from ride style just to widen my experience so I went with the TKP setup. Next is a decent board with flex on it like the Wowgo AT2 or Bone Balrog (or Hadean which is super sexy but way to expensive for what it is IMO).

This machine is very nice and the deciding factor for me was the molicel batteries, the customer support and the overall finish / polish are really what sealed the deal. I went with the smaller battery, range is not an issue for me around here and that's plenty, the discharge rate is sol! I really love Pneuamatic wheels and I don't think I'm ever going back.... if ever lol I

The difference is I can't pick up my sports bike and carry it with me. With a board you can take it anywhere, and put it in a backpack to carry. But, I still like to go fast. I've owned sport bikes, and I'm about to pull the trigger and buy this board.

@@gbwild323 yeah you right bro, but you forget something, if acidently you hit a pothole on 40 mph in sport bike you are fine, but if you hit pothole on 40 mph in eboard, you gona kiss the pavement.

@@iswatunhasanah9288 Have you ridden sport bikes? A pot hole can definitely toss you from the bike. Just because you don't like going fast, doesn't mean others have a problem with it. I do downhill skateboarding, and have hit 60 mph before, and there are plenty of downhill riders that are comfortable with the speed. I've owned sport bikes and skateboards, and I just like going fast. So having the portability of a skateboard with a motor that lets it go 40 mph sounds pretty sweet. I would actually like it to go faster than 40, but for the price, this board seems like the best option.

Don't you feel the speed wobble on a 6-inch air tire? I'm enjoying the Ownboard Bamboo Pro. At first, I tested it with an air tire 6inch, but immediately felt the speed wabble and replaced it with 120mm cloud wheels. What is my problem?😂

Fred, how's the ride quality? My quest for a Cadillac ride continues. The meepo racing wheels were amazing, but those clowns won't send me a replacement tube so I'm back to the bumpy awful stock wheels. Would switch to these if they're legit, but I did see they're wrapped in sunmate rubber and sunmate seems to be bottom of the barrel. Thanks man

i do NOT recommend sunmate tires. wayyy too wobbly. i have a few sets and they all seem to suck. go for the hotas on rideonsra.com or from b one boards website. use my discount code ESK8UNITY

As for the tires. i recommend the Hota 150mm wheels. not these sunmates. summates have a lot of wobble. the hota 150mm has great grip, quality, and minor wobble. i have a video on those along with discounts

Never ridden AT wheels what they like for high speed carving? are they predictable when they loose traction like street wheels?

AT wheels don't loose traction. I carve at 40km/hr + speeds all the time and never felt like I'd slide out. It only sucks when you hit a bump going that fast and loose grip to the board.

So you are on 6inch with 47T, that's the same as Evolve, the Ownboard Carbon AT comes stock with 6inch and 60T. That would be more top speed??? If you had on that board, thought it's way faster than the Carbon AT. Top speed and acceleration?

How do you like the shoulders on the Zeus deck compared to the hurricane? Have a preference between the two?

@@moto55yz i think anything carbon fiber is a bit uncomfortable after 25 miles. but the meepo hurricane feels more TRAPPED for me. like standing in a baking tray. i love the titan x concave the best

Top speed and range both disappointing tbh. Ronnie on youtube had the m50 board and got 29 miles of range with 1 bar left and hit 37mph on 120mm cloudwheels so 6" wheels with m42 was underwhelming to me anyway.

agreed. thats why i always prefer street wheels and how i explained the zeus doesn’t change it’s speed with smaller pullies. also, ronnie has the bigger battery version. it should get more range

@@esk8unity the bigger battery has a lower output if im correct so it seems crazy to me that the pneumatics are that much slower. I preffer street wheels too tho, i got the boosted 105s and theyre really soft but still give me the road feedback i need to know what im riding on. Are you planing on doing a range test with 120s or 105s any time on the new zeus?

Maybe u can test two Zeus Pro With Battery Type: Molicel M50A 936Wh Molicel P42A 786Wh With wheels GT : 120mm Cloudwheels AT : 6 inches Pneumatic Wheels Range test, and speed test with one rider, with one weather, make test f a day

I got my ZP in mid May and keep getting an Overcurrent and the boad shuts down. I have to stop and cycle the power on the board to keep riding. Any advise as to what might be causing this or has anyone else had this problem? (notes: happens on flat road, not breaking down a hill, Im well below the weigh limit, only ride in speed mode 3, and normally happens within 1.5 miles of a ride). Once reset goes the rest of the 4 mile road without issue, happens around the 26-31mph speed, using stock belts and pulleys, 120mm CW. Any comments would be appreciated, a bit dispoined so far with this issue....
