Can you do a video on how u became a owner op? Like what were the steps, the hurdles you had to go through and what hurdles you currently go through, finding a good company to hire on to ,if it’s not to personal what the pay split is? What’s that mindset like?I see a guy my age like yourself in a truck like that it gets the wheels in my head spinning as a company man. I drive a 9 car auto carrier. Stay safe driver.
Agreed... A piece of heavy 1/2 - 3/4" rubber stable / cow mat. Mount it up to the inside of the bottom of your bunk shock box. Kind of difficult to do it with anything rigid as the bunk obviously moves up and down on air... Keep up the good work!!
To solve that open space under your shock box get a piece of 1/8 aluminum bent like an L shaped and mount it to your deck plate with a 1/4” space and paint it to match. You could even shape it to go around the frame to fill in the sides also.
It probably depends on what you're trying to block off between the cab and deckplate. If you're looking to just keep dirt and grime out of there I would use some sort of brush seal. This would likely keep most dirt out but would still be flexible to allow the cab and frame to move independently.
Put a quality mud flap there from the top down roll it inward is one idea....because of the flex and movement thats what i come up with. Keep on keeping on with your badass self
Something you could've done with the new bushings for the shocks, the night before you do it clamps the rubber bushings in a C clamp to compress them and throw in the freezer until you'd be ready to put them in. I've haven't done that before but I imagine the ice cold rubber would stay compressed for a while you install it.
Would be interested to know how much the truck cost you, and all the upgrades you’ve done to it. This is a dream truck of mine, got about 2.5 years driving and would love any info you wanna share brother - much love
With spinning bolts sometimes if you can get something to prey it up a little or just pull up on the plate anywhere while turning it then it might catch a thread & come out
get some rubber stripping for the rattling dude.... use some weather stripping... i did... an its good you can park at home... I parked my truck at home for a week an the city gave me a warning.... no commercial equipment... an to think my drive way is 5x as long as yours... lol
LOL glad to see Paccar is still using only the highest of stuff for their trucks, I know the deck plates are custom, but that shock was completely shot and your truck is dam near new, there is better shocks they could put on from the factory. that would at least last past 2 years
🤔 What's up yo I like your channel. Ok you got the car the truck boat street racer project you know how to turn a wrench 🔧 only thing missing from your arsenal is bikes 🏍️ motorcycle & road bike🚲 for cardio for you and the pioch and speed that would be the move for the coming summer 🌞
Man I’d love a road bike but it terrifies me to ride a bike next to traffic. I had a 06 softtail heritage but I sold it a while back. I didn’t really enjoy it. I love to look at it but not ride it. One day I’ll definitely have another couple bikes I do love them!
I love how you say never get a day off I drove for seven years and after becoming operations for a company I actually work more now Respect for drivers but others work just as hard or harder
