Have you noticed a significant difference in snow/ice build up on your retractable running boards? I have retractable ones on my Yukon Denali, and am almost to the point of taking them off and replacing them with stationary boards because the motor gets gunked up with Montana snow and they get stuck. If a good pair of mud flaps could allow me to keep my current running boards, it would be the best of both worlds. Thanks in advance!
They are situational. If you pull trailers they can help with rocks flying back and dinging up your trailer. Or if you run off-road tires, they are really good and picking up rocks and throwing them up towards your paint on your truck. Driving on gravel roads a lot makes it an even bigger problem.
