There are people out there that try to make their dogs vegan.. digs aren't supposed to be vegan so they end up getting sick underweight abd some have died .. these people need to be arrested not these guys I just meant the vegan addicts that take it too far

I think Donut already knows she's the good girl in the house, so she's just excited for anything. The rest are onto the fact they're being made to stop their bad habits.. lol So Donut just was lazing through some of the recording but also extremely interested any time food was involved. It's honestly really funny to see how each one has a different personality.

Victor K I agree, e collar require just as much training. But provide a clear barrier between yes and no, so the training usually is more efficient and more effective.

They should be outlawed as they're completely inhumane.. you wouldn't go around shocking your child because it did something you don't like..

@@Eventide215 Actually dogs are smart. We give warnings and then correct them with the e-collar. We do not correct out of the blue. Actually, I put the e-collar on my own neck before I put it on my dog.

@@MrWereWolfGirl no they don't animal behavioralist have proven they don't work and create more violent out bursts in the future. Don't get an animal if you're going to use methods that science has proven aren't effective

If they would interact with their dogs, and walk them more they would not bark as much. We have had 3 German Shepherd dogs we have taken the time to walk, train, socialize and interact with them. While my neighbors housebound dogs are barking their fool heads off from inside the house and inside their fence, my dogs are looking at them like something is wrong. My dogs only bark when necessary (someone on our property). They don’t bark when people come into house. The key is exercise and interaction.

How did the training go?

@@BabyfaceJaiyeBear He still whines but it’s more from excitement than fear, at least with barking dogs. He’s still scared of border collies(he got mauled by one when he was little), loud cars, deliveries, and literally anytime the baby of the family is out of his sight. BUT he doesn’t self mutilate anymore or try to break out through the windows so, progress! He’s actually going to the vet soon to check if his continuing anxiety is normal or in need of medical intervention. 🤷🏻‍♀️ We shall see.

@@CassiTheNerd Yep Victoria already was a dog trainer at the time, but she watched Supernanny and realized it's quite literally what she does but with dogs. So she called up the network and was on the fast track to having her own show. The entire layout of the show is the same as Supernanny if you look at it. She comes in, she observes first, then has a sit down with the family, starts training, leaves for a few days, comes back and re-instills a few things, then leaves for good.

I'm from a small Polish village/town too, the only time a dog barking would annoy me enough to go to a court was if it was at midnight everynight for weeks.

Yeah - I am ok with her alerting me about people/things outside but once she goes off, she doesn't stop. With her being a very loud GSD, it is too much. So we are working on her mastering quiet on command. Let me know someone is here but when I say stop, you need to stop. Best of both worlds.

Yeah. De barking is such a cruel thing to do, and it’s not even guaranteed to work. It sickens me ppl actually consider taking away their dogs voice.

A lot of clinics refuse to debark anymore. It's considered a barbaric procedure. If you find a clinic that still does do them, I would find a different clinic to use. A good clinic refuses to do them these days because they understand how cruel it is.

It’s like declawing which is also bad. Debarking is cruel, declawing is cruel

@@fireofdawn3515 it is not the same as declawing! Declawing causes health problems later on. De barking just makes a dog's bark quieter.

@@viswap.8567 it doesn't take away their voice! It just makes them quieter! You can still hear them from the next room even, it's just the neighbors who can't hear them. Plus you can sleep through their barking if they have a habit of barking all night long.

Now that everyone is home more often (those who have not been laid off or dont have people to support) there should be significantly less excuses as to why they're not spending time with their dog or pet. Not to mention try to avoid taking in a dog if you dont have the expendable energy, commitment, patience, time money or effort to put onto them. They're not impulse buys or cute stuffed animals to look at, they're living sentient beings with needs just like humans.

My dog howls, it’s separation anxiety I think as it’s only since my German shep passed and she’s been alone. I think another dog would be good for her but my husband doesn’t want another dog unfortunately

i could recall my italien greyhound 100%! But its sad, she explains the training wrong! Its soo easy, but you can make many mistakes. After 6 month of training i was able to recall my dog during a cat-chase!!! An italien greyhound!!! And all i had to do was 5 to 10 recalls per walk every day. Every dog should be trained this!

Animals are better than people she was doing a online class type of thing when quarantine started, where people send her videos of their dogs and she gives them some advice. I still don’t know if that was prerecorded a few years ago or something but that’s all I’m aware of :)

Literally my neighbors right now lol. They keep shouting and screaming at them in frustration with how much they bark :/ they don't walk them, play with them or anything, just shout and feed them I think, and let them out in the garden. Sometime one dog will get so erratic and upset he'll bark for 8 hours, bark until he sounds like he's in pain with every bark, I've reported it multiple times ( for bad negligence and not for disturbing the peace or whatever, I don't want them put down just because their owners are failing at them. That can happen where I live, put down for making too much noise but I don't want that for them. I've offered help but no interest, even taking them for a walk when I take mine but they don't care. Why get a dog if you don't want to do anything with them?) but nothing is ever done about them.

Yes here all the estates seem to have rules only small dogs allowed. So everyone gets jack russels and dachshunds the worlds worst barkers!

My neighbor have German Shepherd and there vicious they get out and raced at my huge dog and you know what my dog did he stood there and smelled the vicious dog not attacking not even a bark my dog is huge but he is well behaved around humans and dogs

No they should get big dogs so they can brag about how threatened they are by small dogs and how their dead hard macho dog would eat them

E collars are great tools but shock collars are bad I agree. A chick collars are cheap things while e collars are dofferent
