Very good information specially about battery ,, people who were living rent house in metro cities,, this will be problem they will face charging in home😊
Thanks dear. In the next video i will share the problems i have faced with my tata punch ev and how i solved those. Within a day or two i will start uploading videos on this topic. Thanks for your time.
Welcome Sir. Congratulations. I had opted for mud flaps, window chrome garnishing, and rain wiser only. Bcz i felt that the other accessories which they were offering were useless and a waste of money.
@@shashikumarbh8240 When i purchased the car, at that time matts were not available. So, i purchased simple matts from the market and they are sufficient.
I'm looking for a new car, and although I currently don't own one, I have a positive experience driving the VW Polo. Here are my preferences: 1. Safety 2. Automatic transmission 3. Aesthetic appeal and overall feel My budget is approximately 15 lakhs. I've test-driven the following cars: 1. Punch Petrol Automatic 2. Taigun Automatic/Manual 3. Kushaq Automatic/Manual 4. i10 Manual 5. Venue Manual 6. Nissan Magnite Manual 7. Punch EV 8. Astor Manual Among these, I'm particularly impressed with the driving experience, looks, and ambiance of these models, and it seems that they'll fit within my budget for the top model: 1. Punch EV 2. XUV 300 Automatic/Manual (Also awaiting the new model) 3. Taigun 1.0 Automatic/Manual Currently, I drive around 1000 KM per month, but this could increase to 2000-3000 KM in the future, although I'm not certain. I'm a bit unsure about choosing an electric car, so I'm seeking advice on the best option.
Hello sir, I understand your requirements. In my view there are two scenarios. 1. If your monthly driving is close to 1000 km and there is no compulsion of daily travelling of more than 30 kms then there is no need to go for an electric car. And must go with Tiagun automatic, you will love it and there will be no extra tension of charging it and range phobia and planning for long journeys occasionally. 2. But if you feel that your daily driving will increase to 60 km or above or we can say above 2000 km per month then in that case electric cars are the best option. And just go with tata punch ev empowered plus, you will definitely love it.
If your daily travel is less than 200 Km. And occasionally make long trips in a year (and plan your tour by locating charger positions) then it is a good option for a primary car. But if your daily travel is less than 30 kms, then always go with petrol car.
Hey. I am contemplating between the punch EV and XuV400. I know the xuv is outdated in terms of EV technology BUT I am still ready to risk it haha. Drove the punch this morning and loved it as well. The stabality and the driving dynamics is great, only issue is the lesser cabin sspace especially in the rear .. Long story short. My daily running is around 100 kms and its high time I need an electric car. Budget is about 18L tops. Should i go ahead with the punch or no? I know its the only car which has been built on a pure EV platform, but i fear the tech issues and after sales service of tata.. Your suggestion will be appreciated as I am in two minds right now . Thank you in advance
Sir, you should go with punch ev in my view. It is way better than xuv400. I have driven punch ev for 12000 kms. And so far i have faced very minor glitches which i have solved of my own. So far i am very much satisfied with it. And suggest you that go with the top model only. Punch Ev LR. Fast charger is your choice.
Are you able to charge your vehicle with 30kw tata power DC charger?? Did your vehicle ever breakdown midway due to faiure of connector between battery and motor??
I charge with a home fast charger of 7.5 kw. And on a routine basis charger stops after 2 to 2.30 hours of charging and gives red 🔴 light. Then, i have to stop the charger for 5 to 10 mins and again resume the charging. I am still figuring out what the problem is. In my case i notice that when the charger stops, my earthing voltage increases to 40 volts. So, I am still in doubt whether it is happening due to this earthing fault or the connectors are malfunctioning. So, when i reach the conclusion i will definitely inform you. But if you have some info on this then i request you to kindly share.
Hi, Thanks for the detailed explanation..Have a query regarding purchase of new punch ev. Can we buy punch from the other state where we can get free life tax? For ex: iam from telengana where i have to pay life tax for empowered + as 2lakhs, so can i buy a vehicle from maharashtra with 0 tax and move to my state? Can you explain me on this pls
Hi sir, I have a query regarding the charging set up. The sanctioned load of my household is 2kw. Will i face issues to set up the charging socket for 3.3kw charger?
Hello Sir, In my view, you must increase your sanction load to 4 kw sir to avoid any issue. It will cost only a nominal fee which you have to pay to the local electricity department.
Sir, Maine 8 kw ka 3 phase connection liya iske liye. Aap meri new video bhi dekhe ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-a01U08Kf6_A.htmlsi=G4zPcACfK5mqr6dO
Sir, 8 kw load with 3 phase is sufficient. Actual mein hota kya hai sir ki jab apke ghar 7.5 kw ka fast charger fit karte hai toh os time wo apse sanctioned load ka document maangte hai. Jab unhe pata chal jata hai ki apka load 8 kw ho chuka hai toh wo fast charger ki settings change karte hai, uska amp bada dete hai. Aur jo charger fit karne aate hai wo third party hoti hai jiska tata se tie up hota hai.
Don't worry sir. Initially i was also getting between 220 to 250 km because i was driving it like ICE engine cars. I will make a video soon on this. But for time being i will suggest that when you give it acceleration then it should be light footed. That means give the car time to roll and when it gets inertia then increase the acceleration. And keep your eye on the left side energy usage range shown in round outside the range display when you accelerate. Try to keep it minimum.
Yes sir, it is a great electric car. I purchased an empowered plus with a sunroof and fast charger and it is a long range version. As the car is newly launched so i also didn't get any benefits. I paid 1640000 onroad price.
But my suggestion is go for emplowered plus variant which is the top model because it has three very useful features. First one is the 3D view camera which is very useful and awesome. The digital instrument cluster has 10 inch screen and the most important part is the esim app support with which you can remotely turn on off your ac and other things.
@@KSGEngineering thanks for useful suggestion, i also feel the same to go for top end variant only, as it click all boxes, feels a little pricey, but its fully loaded (the empowered plus) and total value for money of all the variants, i hope i get some discounts as its few months now since the launch and all other ev's like nexon, mg astor, xuv 400 are now offering great discounts due to the lower international pricing of Lithium batteries.
Sir, I claim 290 km. I didn't use the cruise mode given in the car. I drove it myself and tried to maintain a smooth acceleration that also means cruising. The speed range was 70-90 km/hr. I used cruise mode in another journey and found that it reduces your range.
@@KSGEngineering one more thing, tata power executive visited our house and said all are fine but the main MCB which is 16 amp now to be replaced with 32 amp. Did you also changed BTW i hv not opted for fast charger.
No sir, right now i have 16 amp plug with earthing and it is working very fine. But yes i have installed extra MCB with this plug. No issues at all. Ok sir, that is not an issue if you have not opted for fast charger because 3.2 kw charger is also auto cut. So, you can charge it overnight tension free.
Sir, i am very much satisfied with this car and i rate my satisfaction level to 9 out of 10. My daily travel is 150 km and i travel from one city to another.
@@KSGEngineering thank you. I am currently thinking between Tiago and punch my daily travel is max 60 km. And maybe some weekend nearby runs are possible. Just thinking if I should go for Tiago which costs around 12-14 or go with punch which costs 17.5 with all the added features. Did you have any such dilemma? Any suggestion?
Sir, no doubt tiago is a cheaper option. If it will be your secondary car then you can go with tiago as well because your daily travel distance is very less and tiago will easily fulfill that requirement. But again if you are ready to spend 14 lac on tiago then you might compare it with the punch ev LR variant close to that amount. And if this will be your primary car then i would suggest you to go with punch ev. Because no doubt today your requirement for long distance travel is less but in future if you can predict and see that there will be a need to travel a little longer distance than this then punch ev is better option. Tiago at the max can give a real world range of 180 km with zero charge left if we talk about long range version of it. In my case i was clear that my daily travel is around 150 km so, buying a tiago was not an option for me. Now, i feel more secured and tension free because this car punch ev can easily do 250-260 km range. So, i will suggest that if it will be your primary and only car then we must consider punch ev because buying an electric vehicle means we are thinking of keeping it at least for 10 years or so. But if you have another car and it will be your secondary car then must go with tiago.
Because as an engineer you know very well about the standard parameters set by the authorities to certify the range. And if you drive on those set parameters you will get around 421 km. But at the same time as an intelligent customer you know that those standard parameters will never be met in daily life driving. So you calculate that if they are claiming 421 then i must get somewhere around 300 based on my driving behavior and parameters. And when you get those figures you rate it 9 out of 10. I hope you understand
