@@acadyax9748 my pet sheep is terrified of my dog. He stayed with chickens but chickens don’t want to play with him so he goes baa looking for me all the time because I suppose he’s lonely 🙈😀
True, but if you work at home and give it plenty of attention it'll be okay. It's still better to at least have another social animal it can spend time with, though.

No it's not nasty. Sheep are vegan and there feces is clean compared with say a dog and also you need two so they keep each other company. Other than that well done on making an animal safe and happy.
My thoughts too. I’ve only one sheep and he’s developed anxiety and is calling for me all the time 🤦🏻♂️ I’m afraid if I buy him a companion they might get louder
@@gravefx9437 I know what an animal that exclusively eats plant based food is called I was only referring to them as vegan opposed to herbivores just to emphasise the fact that that is what their feces are made up of and therefore not smelling as bad as the feces of a carnivore or omnivore.
It depends where you will keep them. Lawn has almost no nutrients. Pasture grasses are good. So are most weeds. Some flowers and weeds are toxic so you need to check on that. They do need salt and clean water at all times. A mineral lick is good in case you have a mineral deficiency in your area. They love all sweets and pumpkin, apples, watermelon, cantaloupe, oranges, pears, etc. You can feed some grain but corn is not good for them. Oat hay and grass hay are fine but alfalfa hay is too rich. They will just get fat. They love most types of tree leaves.
@@cfitz11 not nesiserily as yes fly strik is bad in sheep but if there diped it shouldnt happen anyway but with docking their tail if its not done then it can get caught when rubbing on things and when the have runs they shit all down their tails and if there longer than their flanks then it will stick to their arses and cause infections
You silly. Sheep poop doesn’t even smell. It is easier to sweep it. It is great manure for your lawn and flowers. Embrace the poop. The Lamb is beautiful. They are so affectionate.
The plural of sheep is sheep. There is no such thing in English as sheeps but yeah they are nice animals to keep and practical if you have a field to let them run around nibbling on grass.
Dude! People would pay so much for that fertilizer! Leave it on the ground to feed your grass bubba! Really glad you didn't glamorize it but showed the good and bad of owning a sheep. Watching this would make people who aren't really up for the responsibility to think twice about getting sheep. Prevent a lot of sheep from ending up at the SPCA. From the st. Augustine grass and the annual cicadas, i'm guessing this is somewhere in Texas.
I'd use some Tide detergent and hit it with a nylon brush brother and scrape it with it and just go back and forth then wash it and rinse it wash it and rinse it and hit it with some tight again

Why would you bother picking up sheep shit? It doesn't even stink. Its not like a dog where the poo is digested flesh... with a sheep its just grass. You just hose it into the lawn, or in a corner and shovel it into the garden every now and then.
