Owning My Woodland Has Changed Me

I waffle on, making the point that spending the amount of time in the woodland that I do, bushcrafting a shelter, benches and all that I might need to comfortably camp in the woods has led me on to discover other hobbies. Hobbies that evolve around living closer to nature and moving closer to being able to live off grid (even though not completely).
Listen to me waffling on about the new hobbies I've discovered that include, knitting, weaving, spinning yarn, ham radio and a general interest in how people lived in the past.

Aww what a gorgeous video! I LOVE your excitement for all that you’re learning and planning. We’ve got a small woodland too and it’s incredible how much you learn and get inspiration from nature isn’t it? We live a nature based spiritual path so having our woodland has helped us to connect even more deeply to the Earth. Just stumbled across this and really love your enthusiasm for all these new experiences. Good on you. I’ve wanted land for years, but Oxfordshire is soooooo expensive! Are you doing an update on your woodland from this year? What else have you been learning?

Wow…. I watched the “why did we buy a wood” video to this video and I recognise the face and voice but that extraordinarily happy relaxed face and radiance of your enthusiasm 😮 I was searching about buying a wood for myself, I’m trying to find out what responsibilities would fall on my shoulders if I did, is there a liability insurance requirement, after you mentioned the possibility of a tree falling on a roadway etc… and what kind of dwelling is allowed if there are restrictions applied to private land..? thanks for sharing thoughts about all the experience..😊

I don't want to be MR negative pants(woollen but scratchey) but your video inspired nothing in me. You could of taken us on a tour of your woodland and then taken us through the highs and lows of purchasing and owning a piece of english woodland . The history of the woods or types of trees, what animals you've seen. Inspired ? no ,by the end of your tedious upload i was wishing someone would come along and build a block of flats on the land and chop all the trees down just for a bit of excitement.0/10 for inspiration..........
