I've been hearing about this ancient movie for a long time but i was able to watch in the year 2023 and all i can say is that the same story portrayed in the movie is still existing at this moment. Nothing change, apart from lagos environment and a new look worn by lagosian. Everything in that movie since 1996 is still happening now 😢. It's a pity that no one knows when Nigeria will be better ☹️. God bless all legendary actors and actresses that did a good job in that epic story. Both the late ones and the ones thst are still alive ❤
Not sure what pushed me to search for this movie online and so glad I found it. What’s even more heartbreaking is the struggles we saw in this movie so many decades ago are still very present in today’s Nigeria. RIP to all the great actors who did a wonderful job in this story and May God keep the rest of them still living. An absolute Yoruba Movie Classic for the industry museum 🙌🏾👏🏾
Unlike nowadays we will be watching Yoruba film and english spoken will be more than Yoruba language. Making it difficult for our old ones that are not educated to understand fully.
What an ancient and remarkable movie! I have been hearing about this movie, 'Owo Blow,' but today I had the privilege and grace from the Most High to watch this extraordinary movie here in 2024. Shout out to the deceased souls: Sam Loco, Rachael Oniga, Ireti, and Pa Kasumu. May their souls rest in peace.
wow wow! wow! wow!! fantastic classic movie. i remember when i watched dis movie bck then through our neighbors window,, now i am watching it again on MY SAMSUNG SMART TV 42' with surround speakers nd some cold beer. thank you very much yorubamovieplanet for uploading cos i realized watching it again help me understand d story whole lot more. Thank God we made it out of the lungu in olamide's voice.
Glad to see this movie again. All the cast members performed wonderfully well. Sad part is 19yrs after yoruba movies has only gotten worse. Unprofessional fake and proud artists. Living their lives for "the gram"
A Movie extraordinaire...Full of intrigues, suspense, action emotions... I shed tears watching this movie and couldn't get myself to watching till the end.. I suspended myself from watching the last moments of part 3 for close to 5 months or more cos i already had prior knowledge that the secret leaked.. So many things to learn from this movie, A movie that would melt any heart no matter how hard.. Kudos to the producer and owner of this work..A masterpiece any day!
wow....this movie is one of the best have seen...I didn't want it to end...owoblow...kudos to all the cast...ireti of blessed memory... may her soul rest in peace...I was thinking Iya ojuju will be the one that will let the cat out of the bag but see how nemesis calls...Tade ogidan...best director of our time...can't stop seeing this movie
Crystal Talabi but it was so funny. Yinka Quadri was the one that was championing oath taking. Ogogo tried to tighten the loose end but still nemesis caught up. Very nice movie. I saw it more than 2 decades ago but seeing it again a few days ago gives me more insights.
Crystal Talabi a big lesson. We should be careful of what we do in life. Though circumstances led him into crimes. So sad too, he warned his gang members against killing any of their victims. So sad it ended that way.
Bantaweight is anthr crazy guy 🤣, in d law court his saying they shuld give him weeks to find out his real name🤣 wht a creative movies 💯dis movie deserves some award... job weldone
Man the ending part will make you emotional. This is really happening in real life. People from the rock bottom that has no other means to make it just gotta do whatever. Wole did dirt and got out. But his past haunted him.
Dis is easily d best film av ever watched. God bless all d actors n actresses dat acted. I enjoy all of dem immensely. Watched for d lst time in dis year 2021. Can't believe I never watched it b4. RU-vid tks for dis great opportunity.
Have to watch Owo blow again! I want to flashback to When Nigeria is still better a bit...... I hail all the cast of this movie, they all did wonderfully well.. and most credit to Ogogo (Taiwo Hassan) and kura (Yinka Quadri) may you live long...
I was 9yrs old when the first part of this movie was made and I watched it but could not understand it. But now, I am 37yrs I could understand the whole parts of it. This movie should be the best movie happened in mid 90s. Kudos to the writer, all the crews. This movie twisted my mind and made me cry at the same time. Once again, Kudos to the writer, director and the rest. Ireti may your soul continue to rest in peace. Wole's wife
Owo-Blow ,best movie at that time, the movie that took me to National Theatre for the first time in 1996 or thereabouts,Kudos uncle Tade Ogidan,we need more of ur movies again
This is my fist time watching this movie, and I’ll say it is one of the best movies in the world ,the directing, the actors and actresses are top notch, they played their role perfectly with no lag.please can the new age actors and actresses learn from them
This is one movie that made so much sense and the lessons in it are still relevant even in today's society. Good acting, good script and a great directing. Nice one from Tade Ogidan and also Ogogo. Owo Blow, a fantastic movie
The tragedy is that this story is just applicable to the Nigeria of today... Many languishing on Nigerian jails or roaming the streets are Owo-Blows who have a story to tell. I hope for a better country. May I not be a hindrance to the betterment of my motherland. May I not sit on the entitlements of another. In times of poverty, indigence and suffering, even a heart of gold will do evil.
I'm short of words. The journey of mankind is a mystery..., Epic movie. Very powerful movie. vanity upon vanity, the freedom of a mankind is in the hand of God.
Is better to die like a true man than to live in slavery and poverty, I will always chose death over poverty, you can't understand if you have never tasted poverty, and find yourself homeless on the street on nigeria, so many sad stories untold.
Thank you yoruba movie planet. Seeing the Nigeria of old really brought back a lot of nostalgic feelings, I even saw the popular "Molue" also the value of our naira back then....
Whatever goes round comes back. What a pity how wole ends his life. We should all remember that past hunts the future. So we should all trend gently. A legend film indeed.
I cry like small baby while watching this film.....I wept for owo-blow, most especially their mother....she lost her husband and two children oooh God😭😭😭😭😭😭😭🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏 please, this film is reality to Nigeria of today too 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 I was 10yrs old while this film was released then....my Bros I lived with don't have video, which made me not to cool down watch the film Fatai is a good actor. Binta Ayo mogaji was d only comic that used to made smile small Too much of lessons for me in this film.... No matter difficulties u face what goes around comes around
I feel blessed to watch this movie again since I wanted it last when it first came out.... I guess movie producers should learn more from Pa Tade Ogidan, there wasnt unnecessary music or noise coming from background throughout the movie unlike movies we watch these days where U have to regulate the volume every two minutes with loud sound track. Thanks once more for the upload and stay blessed!
Your comment I so on point even years later… I watched one movie one time and they played one stupid sound track alllllllllllll the way through the movie, as in, it didn’t stop- I didn’t bother watching till the end as I couldn’t hear the actors
I am so happy to see this movie 25 years ago and now. I hope there will be evergreen Yoruba movies like this more and more. Thank you very much for the movie and may the souls of passed away actors and actresses in owo blow and other movies rest in peace. One love ❤️.
Honestly I can’t believe myself to just remember and search for this epic century and decade movie 🎥 OWO BLOW, with the likes of the largest actors and actresses both living and late legends.. I can’t forget mama awero, mama binta ayo mogaji, ogogo, late ireti, late Sam loco, late pa kasumu, Yinka quadri and many more I can’t mention.. God bless the living legends and blessed memory to the late legends
How I couldn't remember this movie is unbelievable. Well, Twitter brought me here😃 First, in our present Nigeria, the police would sweep the case under the carpet because of his influence . Second, Tade ogidan has always been the best director, but this script is 🔥 Third, I can see my oldies actor and actresses. I'm so happy I was born during this time. It's like a time travel🥺. Owo blow! Wow!!!!!!
A great acknowledge to my legend father that brought this casette of this movie to huz,rip to my dad..it's actually make me miss him more..till now the disk is still at home uptill date.
Hanhannnnn, what a sad ending...But he could have denied Jeje too naaa,, this could not have ended bitterly, denial game all through could have worked, someone that could edit wedding pictures and video..
What is the name of the actor that portrayed "BATAM WEIGHT" in this movie and where is he now? If there is anyone who knows him, please share the info. I am really impressed by his acting, stage presence and delivery style. Thanks. 1:04:15
I was born in 2001 big thanks to the Chanel that repost this video…… Nigeria really need to change for good because what happened in the year 1996 is still happening today in an advance and more cruel way
wow..really touching...been hearing about this film..my parents can never stop talking about it...feeling sad for wole...all the actors really put in their best..one of the best i have seen..rip mama toun oni and ireti
Though the movie is old but still stand to be recognise even among the nowadays movies because it portrait what has happened or really happening to majority of boys on street even men especially when our government is getting worst. Kudos to all the actors & actresses and of blessed memory to late Pa Kasumu & Ireti (May their souls continued to rest in perfect peace). Very interesting and pathetic movies. Thanks for uploading.
