Owyn is One in a Million 

Owyn is one in a million. She was diagnosed with an extremely rare condition called mirror hands (she was born with 8 fingers on one hand that didn't function well together). Her family sought care with Dr. Charles Goldfarb and Dr. Lindley Wall at Shriners Children's St. Louis. Today, Owyn has stronger bend in her elbow and four fingers that help her achieve the greatest level of functionality. Owyn has enjoyed acrobatics and theater. Now, she's loving basketball. Her dad, Matt, works hard to connect with other families of kiddos with the same condition to make sure they feel supported and well educated.
