I have just the trousers, they are my first proper pair of winter/waterproof trousers and I’m really happy with them. They have decent armour and also include the hip armour which is what sold me when compared to the Mondial. I’ve been caught in the rain only once, but have used them down to 4C and they have been great. The ankles also fit great with the zip and Velcro fastener around my smx6 boots
It would be really cool if your videos could show what kind of adjustment the armour has on the knees.... Just a note to anyone wondering what kind of zip attachment oxford uses on this set... Short zip is YKK/YBS vislon 8v ( which connects to most of my Weise and furygan kit....and the long zip is YKK vislon 5v.
Of course. I wore a small jacket and the trousers were small with a regular leg. I have a 40in chest, 32in waist and a 31in inside leg. If it helps, I'm 5ft 10in in height and weigh 12st (76kg). Cheers, Tony
The Stormland is a more substantial jacket than the Mondial 2.0. It has a higher waterproof rating (10K vs the Mondial's 8K), the CE rating is higher (AA rather than A) and there are extra reinforcement materials used as well. There are the twin cuffs that don't feature on the Mondial 2.0, the thermal liner is better and there's the included storm collar too. I think if you had the two jackets in your hands you'd get a good sense of the difference between the two. Cheers, Tony
Ah okay - maybe i jumpted to conclusions a little early... I have the original mondial but contemplated the mondial 2... maybe the stormland is the one I should go for. cheers@@sportsbikeshop
