The position depends on the condition of the patient...if the patient has difficulties in breathing semi-fowlers position. If patient is having low oxygen Saturation then 30 degrees on a pillow is ok As for the amount or flow check oxygen Saturation.
@ Rabby we use sodium bicarbonate because it breakdown all the debris or mucus which you suction from the airway... And the tube can be reused on the same patient. Thanks alot for asking.
It depends with the condition of the patient.... dyspnea.. position is semi fowlers + oxygenation or fowlers. Not dyspneac elevate bed end at 30 degrees+ oxygenation
