those that sit on nmcz committees should consider reviewing the idea of not gloving up after scrubbing. gloves are PPE and must be dawn every time we are handling such procedures whether with forceps or not. thank you for the good demo.
Correct no gloves needed if you are using gloves then no forceps and if you went for forceps then no gloves..you can only use one at a time not both.. Just a concern,is it not possible Mr Koko sir to be putting a receiver aside rather than on the bottom shelf of the trolley I feel like someone might end up contaminating in the process.. thanks
Good morning, yes you clean inside out (cleanest to dirtest) . NMCZ standard for wound dressing they want a student to learn how to use forceps and not use of sterile gloves on this procedure. Thanks for the concern
Sir during OSCE they just put one pair of groves ...so when putting an incontinent sheet and loosening the dressing....how can I do it coz I will only find one pair of groves????
Good morning, you can use different types of solutions some use hypochlorite, some still use savlon. It also dependent on the institution and availability of the solutions for cleaning wounds.
