I used to give my duplicants jobs because I thought it would make them happier after I saw this animation. Afterwards it turns out that I just got a huge pool of polluted water at the bottom of my base from stress vomiting due to lack of morale.
You must add a tf2 worth if hats by the end of development. That would actually be cute if you could customize the preset dupes or create new dupes, or... well I could probably go on for a while
As a janitor. And keep in mind these people arnte getting paid. There is no currency. That means this achually takes place where communism reighns supreme and the commies take over space. Keep in mind this is just a joke theory.
Poor Ren though, he’s one of the first duplicates I had in my base, and I don’t remember the other two that I had but I do remember renaming him to my name IRL.
Awww, the animated short are always so cute and funny, and they really explain the update. I'm glad I bought the game, and all Klei games are just so well designed. Cheers to them : )
You know what would be amazing If each dupe in the game (Ren, Gossman, etc) had their own "voice" They wouldn't have their own unique sounds to make, no, but they would pick from a library of say, 3 voice types, and then have a pitch modifier So Ren would have a more smooth voice, while Gossman would be lower pitched I think that would be awesome
Normally I wouldn't care less about the hats but when I finally got the game this animation keep coming back to the top of my mind and out of habit I feel the need to give everyone who had earned one a hat just in case they might care as much as this lad does.
Gee klei you spoil us with another amazing animation... also i love how : Don't Starve characters : *instruments noises* Oxygen Not Included characters : *tiny robotic computer noises*
Your team is amazing, I bought the game on steam just because of how amazing these shorts are. I had pirated it at first just to see how hard it was going to be to play and then clicked a link on the main menu and saw the animated short and then immediately decided that any team willing to put this much effort into releasing an update to gameplay was worth supporting and bought the game. I figured I would learn to play eventually and have fun.
With this update the dup have a caos with their functions. In my case they don't fix cables with the usual speed and the 30/40% of my base don't have electricity XD.
Just thought I'd try and let you guys know personally, I plan on getting this game within the next week or so! I've been watching Markiplier play it and I've heard nothing but good things from others who have seen gameplay or played it themselves. I love resource management games, but have never been able to find one truly difficult! I don't expect this game to be easy, and that's all part of the fun! I can't wait to try this out!
Ben Stanziyoyo likely takes a little shorter than the development of the patches. I'd give it about 3/4 of the waiting time for each patch (excluding Tubular)
