Please watch as I install and compare the Oxygenics Body Spa RV Shower head to the Oxygenics Fury showerhead! Oxygenics Body Spa - amzn.to/40tZaO7 Oxygenics Fury - amzn.to/40pHEuA
My personal preference is the body spa, it's what I have, easy installation and nice that they included plumber's tape. I use full hookups at my campsite with water pressure set at 40psi. The shower head performs perfectly (not using the water pump).
Just swapped in the Fury after watching your video. What a difference over the factory wand. I did not like how stiff the Fury's hose was so I simply just screwed it to the OEM hose. It sits in the Fury wall mount slightly loose but is fine for showers.
Attention Canadian's, I have purchased one of these . It's really works great. However a couple of months later I found the head unit on the floor and the "Smart Pause " portion broke and I contacted the company for a replacement valve and they said if I produced the receipt the would this one time replace it for free. The BIG news a $50 shipping and handling charge for a $5 or less postage cost, WHAT a SCAM . So Canadian's be advised
Thanks for the review. I think I'm going to go with the fury now. When you said you run your rv water pump because it seems better than the rv park water pressure, were you hooked up to the rv park water supply and just turned on the pump as well?
I find it rather strange you would use your water pump when hooked up to campground water. I do agree that one with adjustable settings looks to be better. Probably either one would work as long as better water pressure. That's what i am looking for. Good review.
I agree it’s surprising but the water pressure is substantially limited at most of the places when I’m on full hook up. I plan to also look into a new pressure regulator where I could control the pressure and make it a bit higher!
Thanks for this comparison video. I have a white Body Spa shower head from my previous travel trailer but we recently upgraded to a fifth wheel that has brushed nickel faucets so I’m looking at the Fury for the new trailer. I can confirm that a total shut off valve will result in scalding hot or cold water. Did you do any measurements of the water flow (gallons per minute) for the 2 shower heads?
I did not measure myself, just know that Oxygenics says 1.8gpm for both. The fury can be easily “turned down” so that you could use less flow when less is needed.
HI Great video. I wanted to change out my shower head. You made my choice easy now. I am getting the Fury. It will be good for my wife. she has long hair and needs a good strong stream. Happy wife Happy camping. LOL Thank you for doing this video.
Do you fill your fresh water tank and then use your water pump for showers or do you turn your water pump on while using city water? Great review! Thank you!
Yes I fill my fresh tank then just turn the pump on. No need to shut off city water or anything. I’ve actually been camping a couple of times where the water has been shut off so I fill it just in case and for showers. Thanks for the comment!
I guess it’s not for everyone! I saw a huge improvement and most everyone I’ve talked to has. I don’t find it to be too large but maybe in some smaller RV showers it would be an issue.
