As this is a loose footed sail I am wondering about the grommets along the foot. Presumably they can be used to put the reefing cringles through rather than tying the cringles around the bottom of the sail.
Grommets could be used for the reef cringes but when I ordered the sail just allowing another option for sail adjustment. Found as you already knew, loose footed is best
