Êhhh TURMINHA DA BOA!!! Que Saudades de quando HAVIA Grupos Musicais de VERDADE!!! Beattles, Roling Stones, Bee Gees, Creedences, Os Incríveis, Sá & Guarabira, Trio Esperança... e Muitos Outros Com Lindas Melodias.. E Mensagens Musicais de Arrepiar A ALMA e Disparar Os Corações!... Eu Não Conhecia esse Ozark.. Daredevils...
What an absolutely great song...and what a terrific group. Thank you, Daredevils. You've touched the souls of so many...especially those of us who call the Ozarks home. You made it right.
Thankyou Lord, you made it right. And thanks to Whispering Bob for having the Ozarks on his show, The Whistle test was the best ever stage for Progressive and Quality music of all kinds.
"Thank You Lord, You made it right" Yes he will, He is always faithful, Revelation 3:20 King James Version (KJV) 20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me." The Lord put my cancer into remission because I prayed and believe. Thank You Lord, You made it right!
I used to see these guys in Springfield,Mo. at the New Bijou Theater way back when the band was called, “Family Tree” I also remember when they had more different names, at one time the OMDs were named, Granny’s Bathwater, Family Tree, Burlap Socks, & Emergency Band. I guess I’m telling my age now. lol
This is the ending of my book, Stylus Stories- Musings of a Marginally Maltese Australian: "During the southern hemisphere summer, I live in peace and quiet on what is left of the property. I never tire of looking out onto the stunning escarpments and valleys of the Blue Mountains. Sometimes, on a sunny Sunday morning when the vista is particularly beautiful, I like to play a 1974 American country-rock LP by the band, The Ozark Mountain Daredevils called, It’ll Shine When It Shines. The old vinyl album is a collection of folksy, naïve style and optimistic hippie-type songs set within the farming country of Missouri/Arkansas/Oklahoma. It has songs with titles like, It Couldn’t Be Better, What's Happened Along in My Life and It’ll Shine When It Shines. The first song on Side One of the LP is called, You Made it Right. That first song describes a mountainous landscape and includes the lyrics, “I have stones on the mountain, and a clear blue windswept sky, thank you Lord… Lord… Lord… you made it right, you made it right”. Listening to that song on a sunny Sunday morning while absentmindedly gazing into the spectacular view from my back deck, always takes me back to a happy place and to a time when I had a farm in South Bowenfels."
Thank you beautiful, 'Ozark Mountain Daredevil's Members'. ❣️💝❣️💝❣️💝❣️ and more hugs to you all. Majestic Lyrics and your beauty in/of music. Xoxoxoxo I am grateful 🙏🌺 NSW AUSTRALIA 🌸💖🌺💖🌺💝🌺💝💖
Saw them in Glasgow Apollo in 1976 and was one of best concerts have been to with great playing and singing. The encore was special with all their families on stage singing. Thanks for posting and bringing back great memories.
Sorry to hear of Steves passing, great poet and bandmate of the daredevils, I know they miss him. These guys were so cool to me .1st time I heard harp, guitar , mandolin and jews harp out of a rock band, probably in the same song! Pioneering is a understatement
o que ele fala no início é emocionante , para quem teve a oportunidade de viver uma infancia na fazenda entende muito bem a beleza disso tudo. Parece que essa musica nos aproxima de Deus muita coisa mesmo !!
I've got a moon out my window in the night And I've got a sun out my doorway when it gets light I've got stones on the mountain and a clear, blue, wind-swept sky Thank you, Lord You made it right, you made it right And I've got a woman to love me when I'm gone And I've got stars to find me the way back home I've got rain in the morning when I'm stranded all alone Thank you, Lord You made it right, you made it right (ooooohhhhhhhhhh) I've been standin' on a hillside in the night And I've been singin' 'bout the good things and the light There's a new star on the horizon and it nearly fills the sky Thank you, Lord You made it right, you made it right There's a new star on the horizon and it nearly fills the sky Thank you, Lord You made it right, you made it right
thnks for posting this video. went to see them in liverpool on this uk tour in 76. brings back lots of memories, none more than the encore when there were wives and babes in arms on stage. wonderful times.
CARA, TENHO HOJE 64 ANOS ,OUVI E VI O COMERCIAL DE JEANS EM 1982 E NÃO ESQUECI OS ARPEJOS DA GUITARRA E AS VOZES AGRADECENDO O GRANDE LORD QUE FEZ TUDO CERTO PARA NÓS QUE NEM SEMPRE ENTENDEMOS E AGRADECEMOS COMO A BANDA O FEZ MUITO BEM.
Exatamente.
I'd forgotten the Ozark Mountain Daredevils. Always loved this song. It's such a simple, laid back, happy song. I've been thinking up new material to do at the local open mike night. Think I'll do this one. yee haa
