That’s a beautiful cabin. I love the simplicity of it yet so much attention to details. The setting is beautiful , and a swimming hole is such a great bonus!
This is beautiful, very simple and very cozy. The land looks very maintained and taken care of . I'm 73 years old now and this is how I've awaited to live . Thank you for sharing . Would love to see more .
The property is gorgeous & looks peaceful! The cabin looks cozy & comfortable. The only thing is I would need an indoor bathroom, as I have to get up several times in the night to use the restroom. But what a beautiful place to get away. Would need at least a small septic system. Love the creek/ running water!
Really nice place!! I just wish more people, this day in age, would consider a composting toilet instead of an outhouse! They are awesome. Have experience with them and they change EVERYTHING!! Cuts that necessity of toileting down a bunch of pegs! Consider it! Great job here!
Here it is March , 2024 and i keep coming back to your little place of paradise. I just love this place and its so inviting , be safe and happy trails 👣
Our family had a small family off grid cabin on a trout stream! Yours is just beautiful! I had an out house, but chamber pot in the dead of Winter, as a child! Had to toss Lime in the hole! 😅 This is awesome for kids! I spent every weekend fishing or building forts or dams across the stream. We cooked on propane, had propane heat in deep MN Winters, and the biggest treats at night was to light the oil lamps and the wood stove! What a beautiful gift you are giving to you kids! Our cabin was only 45 min. From our city house! I was there every weekend! However, we didn’t shoot our forest friends, ever!!! Now trout…….well?? Just a splendid cabin, even if I don’t believe in shooting Bambi! You are an excellent FAMILY MAN 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Looks great! Love the cabin. Great satisfaction comes from the journey of building one of these yourself. I'm currently building a 16x20 off gridder in northern Wisconsin. Peaceful times in a crazy world!
I look at a ton of off grid cabin videos. None compares to your cabin. You did a great job. It's so pretty and cozy. A perfect design. One question: If you can dig a pit for an outhouse why not just go all the way and dig a hole for a septic and indoor bathroom? But really. What an awesome place. I know you're enjoying it.
I absolutely love the cabin. I'm new to your channel. I came over here to check it out, per mentioned by Off Grid with Doug & Stacy. I've been going back through and watching all of their videos, and they mentioned you guys in one of the last videos I watched. Anyway, we just moved to Oklahoma a little over a year ago. We have 12.54 acres out here near the base of Panola Mountain. We will be starting to build an off-grid cabin on our land here soon. We have a RU-vid channel as well. Ours is called Faith First Farm & Homestead. I love how you have your homestead set up.
Thank you for your comment. I appreciate you watching our videos and I’ll have to check out your RU-vid channel. That’s neat that Doug and Stacy mentioned us on their channel. Do you mind sharing which video it was?
What a sweet little place you built out there...I love those cedar poles just rustic... The natural setting iis unique, feels secluded and wild, I love it....
You don't mention where you're located (or else I missed it), but I can truly appreciate what you've created. My nephew owns a ranch on the north side of Huntsville, AR, in land similar to yours. In my old age, I can tell you, some of my happiest memories, those memories one takes to the grave, are the times I've been back there, helping him work his ranch. Thank you for sharing... 'Your Dream.'
@@BrentenBlake Yes, sir. I'm more familiar with Benton, Carroll, Washington and Madison Counties in AR, but I know the area where you're located. My nephews place is north of 412, off Co. road 1335, north of Misty River Ranch if you're familiar with the area. God's Country! I cherish the time whenever I'm back there.
