I used atsko silicone waterproof spray and I forget what sealant I used. it didn't rain so I didn't get to see how well it worked. ok I'll check it out.

I really enjoyed watching this review I grew up in the inner city many of us don't go camping however i was blessed to have a family that enjoys the outdoors. Thank you for making this review im looking for a tent to camp post hurricane Maria in Dominica West Indies..You showing the height inside is so important..im 5'9 and so knowing the scale is sooo important for me and i need ventilation the fact this tent has air flow its hot and humid where im going to help rebuild the island so this will be long term i pray it hold up well during the heavy rain.Stay blessed!

UPDATE: I had to come back and tell you that my tent is up. Omggggggggg, Iove love love it. I was not expecting it to be this BIG. One room is my BOOM BOOM Party room. The second is my Yoga room with my Yoga mats and third is my "bedroom". I have my firepit out and will be bringing out my movie screen and projector. This is everythingggggg that I wanted. Thanks again so much!!!

hey thanks alot for the compliment, we as men gotta stay involved in our children's lives. there this camp sight in Lake livingston that had lots for rent and they all have power outlets connected. overall best decision I made.
Quickplaya yeah I couldn't find a tarp big enough within that small amount of time so I grabbed 4 regular size one. I'll look into it though next time. rookie mistake... lol
Thanks for the great video! 2 quick questions. Does the main door on the left side (not the "D" door) have a zipper that closes fully on all 4 sides? All the videos just show the mesh screen zipped closed but the actual "door" is just closed with the velcro tabs. I am worried that if it doesn't have a zipper that it will be cold in the tent and that the wind will easily undo the velcro. Also are there hooks in the ceilings of the rooms to hang a small lightweight lantern/light from? Any info is greatly appreciated! Thank you!!
Miriam CaliGirl yes it does all close completely. the top of the tent is covered with bug net covered by another layer of the tent about a foot space in between. you can remove the top and expose the bug net to see the sky at night, it's beautiful.

Good video! One question, does the A/C vent netting come off in order for the A/C to go into the tent? I saw in your video that your A/C was behind the net. Thank you.
DoyouC360 the netting dosent come off. because the ac leaks water, it was best it be outside. it's actually 2 vents on the tent but I only had enough for 1 a.c. unit at the time and it got it pretty cold to where we all had to use blankets at night. But there's electrical openings at the bottom corners in case you do want to.
thanks for the review. I just purchased one for a Christmas gift to myself. I live in Brooklyn but work in Harlem. I plan to get a car next tax season. I figured I could carry it on the train. lol. none of the reviews mentioned how big the box is it comes in and how heavy this dam thing is to lug around. but I did it.
Has it rained on your tent yet? Did any rain come through is it waterproof? I can't figure out where the third room is looks like there's one on the left and one on the right. Sorry one more question where you have the air conditioner if you don't put an air condition does that little window completely seal up when nothing can get in?
Yes the window close its mainly for circulation or ventilation. The tiny is shape like an L so the rooms are in each corner. It has rain and it been dry inside.

tashee34 Hi thx I use 2 of atsko silicone water guard from walmart for 5$ and 2 Coleman waterproof seam sealers just to be on the safe side as you know it's a pretty big tint. it didn't rain when we went and I proofed it when we got there. but I know for sure the sealer worked great. You guys will enjoy this tent.
hey, well it's basically for air flow on both ends of the tent. I just bought a cheap window unit from Walmart to place there and it work very well. lol next everyone ran to walmart. I set it on a small crate or kid foot stool. I'd probably have 2 units next time for each side but one can do justice
I have 3 tents already and now I'm about to get this bigger one too, Me and my family has gone camping 4 times now. I'm glad to see more us 😉 doing this. I want bigger because i wanna make the 3rd room a bathroom, you should look up the flushable portable toilets especially with small kids. Good video though...
How well does the ac unit do in the tent? We just sold our pop up camper and trying to decide wether to get another camper or go back to tent camping. My wife really enjoyed having the ac.
Jeremy Harrison hey the a.c. worked real well it was about 98+there the one a.c. got it down to about 78 day or cooler in the one section but at night it was cold enough for blankets and that was with one unit. two can fit

I have had mine for prob over 10 years and last time we used it was 2018 and I set it up now can’t get it back in the bag 😖 I forgot the order in bringing the polls up. Hi I used a silicone spay, I also purchased from academy. I think I bought like 3-4 cans of silicone spay. Wasn't sure how much I needed but I wanted to make sure I had enough
Hi Hubby and I are just watching this and wonder how this tent has held up especially in windy rain. We only have the 8 man but some reviews said rain and wind were issues. thanks for any tips. Great video.
@@petepete884 not that size but i only have that one as a big tent.. Yea I had it up in my backyard for a few weeks and it was good and I realized that the rain fly wasn't as secure as it should have been..
Anyone else with this tent have a problem with it collapsing? Set it up in the yard, woke up to some rain. For 2 hours it was great. Nothing was wet inside and seemed to hold up nice. Until one side just collapsed. Put it back up, and it was down again within 10 minutes. We are new to tents. Wondering if this is something we did Wrong or if we have a bad tent

Hey only if the walls are unzipped. There are 2 vents on each end. A cheap window unit from Walmart like 40 50 buck or from home depot will be perfect places on top of a cheap child step stool would be awesome. I only had one and it was great

Miriam hold it upright after its rolled up and try to put it in the bag somewhat, that way and put it all the way in on the ground. You will have to roll it around slightly too.. When you put it in its better with the top of the tent in the bottom of the bag.. Continue to squeeze the air out in the tent as you are zipping.. Btw I could not include the rain fly. Hopefully this helps..
Dominick Pratt I think we had the same problem but come to find out we wasn't extending it to the max I think it got to a certain point and stopped but it extended further. as far as I can remember. but I do remember that happening but it worked out.
