Avast, Reef Octopus, Geosreef and all other Ozone Reactor manufacturers only use carbon after the ozone reactor chamber, always on the OUTPUT, never IN. Bro sorry but you need to do more research. 445 - 450 is over dosing my friend, no wonder your tank was wack! It is recommended at 300-350 mV, some go up to 375 - 400mV is max which is for very huge aquariums. I've been using Ozone for many years and have multiple systems in my aquaculture business and max it at 350 mV.
The skimmer still fills the sump with micro bubbles. Manufacturer said that would go away with heavier load. Never did. I would not buy another Royal Exclusiv, but it still pulls out a bunch of gunk, so continue to use it.
@@brinks128 It is not worth it in my opinion. At least for me. I can only tell a slight difference in running ozone versus carbon. The with ozone, I have to run carbon for the gas off and on water side to take ozone out of water and air. So I use more carbon while using ozone than I did without. That on top of changing the air drying beads all the time. Just wasn’t for me.
