I know an old British guy who when he was in the army was instructing Gurkha recruits how to throw grenades in Malaya, way back during the Malaysian Emergency in the 1950’s. One of the recruits pulled out the pin and then froze! The instructor managed to wrestle the grenade out of the recruit’s hand and then throw it away, but the grenade exploded danger close. They both ended up in hospital full of shrapnel.
@@irresponse you mean this is how the usa military operates in other countries oh right, thats not hostage deaths, just civilians. noone would take hostage against them
Yup the seargant grabbed his own "private" I am sure also to make sure his wife had her sexual needs dealt with later I am sure also as clearly he nearly lost them. But he did protect his Military privates also.
@joseph ka but Jesus said himself he would return during the rise of the antichrist when he condemns Israel after turning on them. So yeah, the beast will most likely be palestinian Iranian or something. But that doesn't mean Jesus isn't going to return.
That first dude with the granade made me wonder how many people blew themselves up before they came up with those bunkers with that shape of trench. That is definitely intentional and quite clever, it allows for exactly what happened, if it goes wrong there should always be a side of the trench that you can jump into to avoid the explosion and shrapnel. Whoever thought of that saved those 2 as much as the trainer saved the other guy.
Yeah everyone can misthrow their granades all day long. But recruits hate them since they can't get medical leave for blowing their fingers off anymore.
1970 boot camp Fort Polk Louisiana. Live grenade drill. Recruit was a southpaw. Drill Sgt put live grenade in kids right hand told the kid to pull the pin and throw. The kid obeyed, pulling the pin then threw the pin. Fortunetly the recruit hadn't released the charging handle. First time I ever saw a DI damn near pass out.
That is a Chinese drilling footage. Since the Chinese army has a tradition of using lots of grenades in close combat, my guess is they adopted that kind of drilling trench long ago.
I reckon the trainer was just a d!ck, and said right are you left of right handed, which ever they said,,, show me your best wi you sh?t arm.. next minute , ah f@ck run.
@@angelkotilainen I think those are called bangalores, they're used widely during ww2 to clear trenches/razor wires. I learnt about them from watching saving private ryan lol. Not sure if it's even still in service anymore.
@@ltzmin Shaskool means dumb ass, but it is part of the vocabulary that is frequently used among that low rank military staff. I would say every Persian guy who has done the military service laughs hard with lots of flashbacks after watching this.

You have to be my age to remember those illegal VHS tapes lol. I really don't know who contributed to this script, but I give him a lot of credit.

When I was in Army basic training, one of my fellow recruits actually threw the pin and held the grenade. Kept the trigger arm down but it is actually easy to do.
i'll ask a question too. (Bus stick wacking) What kinda training is this? Are they trying to follow the philosophy "what doesn't kill ya, makes ya stronger?"
Random Story: Arnold Schwarzenegger basically ended up getting out of mandatory military service early because he was so bad at it. Including a time he crashed a tank in to a pond 🤣
@@humann5682 You get to drive a tank at part of millitary service? If it was my countries. You would basically become a civil servant doing odd job when you do mandatory service
@@athlumney Did he do service in america. Because i can assure you that no military service guy in my country get to drive a tank, unless they are extremely talented and want to actually enroll to the army after service end
GAGAGAGAGAGA!!! I watched this video and it is really not that good compared to my perfect videos. GAGAGAGAGA!!! This is NOT self-promotion! This is the reality! This is the world! We are the people! Don't disl****ke my vide*****s, my dear love
Thanks for that very rare footage of the only bus ever built by Yugo, recalled over 10 million times to try and figure out why it explodes when the window breaks
@@arttrumbo9496 Mai Lai, Tiger Force, Haditha, No Gun Ri - off the top of my head, but its not about point scoring, its about acknowledgement, responsibility and holding people accountable instead of sweeping it under the carpet
I remember that mortar video from FPS first uploaded it, he mentioned several times that mortar, especially older models such as the one he had at the time very often failed to go further than 5 feet
@amir who told you that? Iran was crippled both by nazis and Soviet Union. Now is 21 century and only countries like USA, Russia and China are capable to fight World War 3 should it happen
@amir USA haven't invaded Iran and never failed. They don't need to invade Iran they can sit at home and use software to win war in different way. USA is the only country in the world that can fight anyone anytime and win should they want to and yes they can fight Russia and China simultaneously and win. Unlike Iran USA has right tools to play this game for indefinite time, is all about money, technology and determination
I understand the joke but just wanted to mention that what that bloke did was not okay. Even as a joke, or a 'here's a good picture for you with me shooting someone'-gesture, you can't just aim at someone. Never point a gun or another weapon at something you do not intend to destroy.
I've actually been there whilst the grenade thing happened to a scouse lad when we were doing second phase basic training. Exercise up Warcop. The NCO had to grab him and run behind the wall as there was no ditch, Cpl Penney it was, gave him a cup of tea and said he'll have to have another go when he stopped shaking.
As a fuze main I resemble that remark. But no seriously, fuze is an underrated god of hostage rescue. Have the team distract at a false breach point, swing in a window, grab the hostage, hit the cluster bomb on the way out. Half the enemy team is dead and im halfway to the extraction point before the dust settles.
I'm in so much pain and grief because my mum passed away. This video really made me laugh.. Thank you so much ozzy man. Your videos helped me to over come. One's again thank you.
Got sent to jail on BS weed charges and had his entire gun collection confiscated. Check out his interviews on his time in jail on PKA, absolutely fascinating.
No longer can own guns through a bs charge, and a producer died mysteriously and they tried to pin it on him. He's kept a pretty low profile since, other than the podcast.
Sergeant: why is there a fucking wheel infiltrating the base. Private: I threw a rock and a drop kick and it wasn't intimidated. Sergeant: mother of God, run!
F.Y.I The demonstration at the end was to present the "invincible war vase" which can be used as a hand weapon or a missile, in large numbers, for bomber aircrafts.
dude I love how you used the farsi words absolutely perfect mate :) respect . and our army is very advanced and highly skilled , we recently hit our own ship in Maneuver warfare against imaginary enemy ! pure skill !
@@SilverMe2004 If It was that i could have understood that same as everything you need to practice , but when it's main ship close to the dummy ship and gets hit with the land to sea missile it shows there's no discipline nor any coordination . Controlling ship are hard but missiles :) rly ! if they played call of duty even they should be able to land a missile on a correct target :D
I've driven dozens of tanks onto trucks at work, it really is tricky, you lose sight of the trailer as your tanks front end rises over the ramps and when the balance point is passed and the front end drops down you're just a passenger hoping you lined the tank up with the trailer correctly. Never rolled off the trailer though.
he's been out of prison for months actually. He got busted for having an ounce of weed on him, consequence of that was the confiscation of his whole arsenal
@@anthonycalderone88 no he wasn't. He's on some guys podcast all the time. His business partner was shot and killed and murder was never solved. FPS Russia..or Kyle is real name..is very much alive. ✌️
Training mortar grenades are filled with sand or something. Though they will still kill you if you get hit in the head so I was still very anxious when training with mortars and rocket launchers with my squad of morons. >_>
THIS MESSAGE IS TO OZZY MAN. PLEASE MAKE CERTAIN THAT HE SEES IT. THANK YOU - Ozzy, this is Lavier from the USA. I wrote to you a while back to let you know how grateful I am for the laughs you have given me with your excellent videos and all during the time I was taking care of my mom that had Dementia. I took care of her for almost 7 years entirely by myself. She had two strokes. The first one left her partially paralyzed and bed ridden mostly, especially the last 2 years. The last one was just over a month ago. That stroke destroyed her remaining good side of her body. About two weeks after it, she began declining dramatically and altogether stopped eating. She suffered horribly and ultimately died in front of me gasping to breathe in hospice on October 1st. I am devastated. I miss her so much Ozzy. My friend, you made a world of difference during one of my mother's darkest times ever. For both of us. The experience of taking care of my mom has destroyed my knees, has devastated me emotionally, and has aged me faster than anything I could have ever imagined. And I would do it all again in a heartbeat, right now. Ozzy, thank you for the times your videos brought absolute joy into my life. EVERY single one of your videos has made me crack up. Though short in length, it was the escape I often looked for. You have brought so much laughter into so many viewers. God bless you, your staff, and your family. Thank you for getting me through this. Sincerely, a fan for life.
Yep, he got raided and had all of his guns confiscated, because he had hashish at home. Went to jail for a bit too because of it. Can no longer have guns as a result.
The grenade range incident isn't a military fail. It's a classic example of a military training success. A fail would have been two dead or injured soldiers.
