1981 was a great time for rock and metal. It was a great time to party too. No cellphones, no 24 hour cable news, no constant politics and bombardment of your mind with non sense. Just great music, awesome cars, fantastic clubs and bars and all these greats were still in their prime!

Stuck in the kitchen cooking, two crap songs play. Then I hear the starting guitar to an Ozzy song and I say out loud "Thank God for Ozzy" . I lost my wife to a sudden stroke 3 years ago but an Ozzy song can take me back to when we were new and flying high in our new melding of us. Thank God for Ozzy.

I thank God everyday that I got to grow up in the 80's.

The way Sir Randy Rhoads composed his eargasmic solos is unrivaled. I listen to them for over 30 years and they give me goosbumps every time.

Randy took Ozzy to the top and Ozzy has never been afraid to say it. Absolute respect for Ozzy to say that. In interviews even today you can see the love Ozzy still has for Randy. Very cool, you the best Oz

When everyone thought there would be no more surprises in the guitar world after Eddie, Randy appears with magnificent riffs and solos, who had his identity and didn't copy Eddie, like so many others in the 80s . The tiny Randy was just like Hendrix, had a couple years to blow our minds, god bless him.

When I was like 10 yrs old Randy was a super hero to me.... I remember making my cardboard cut out guitar and rocking out to flying high again and over the mountain..... Now I'm almost 51 & Randy is still a super hero to me & my guitars are real...... God bless everyone who is moved by the timeless playing of Randy Rhoades.....

Randy was an untouchable talent. I've never heard guitar sounds like his from anyone else. He just executed some magical shit on that thing. And could only have gotten better had he not been taken so young. Gawd he was FKING AMAZING!!

I had the pleasure of seeing Randy on the Blizzard of Oz tour. I had tickets to see them two days after the plane crash that took Randy! Randy was such an amazing player and a very down to earth guy! And Ozzy still says that Randy was very influential in helping start his solo career!! R.I.P. Randy and thank you for the memorable songs!

Some of the bootlegs are great, but a lot of them have you screaming “down in front”. So happy for the Rhoads family that Randy FINALLY made the Rock and Roll hall of fame. I've heard this song a thousand times but this time I listened to Bob Daisley's killer bass playing and the way the verse has this weird offbeat emphasis. It's like hearing it for the first time again. Bob and Lee are/were monster players.
